From: Key MacMoragh If some secret Linden did delete one of those pictures, it was good (for you) that they did ONLY that and didn't ban you from the Forums. Why? Because I posted an "offensive" picture of a cat? I find LOLCATs offensive. One man's meat is another man's poison. From: Key MacMoragh And "arbitrary" is gratutious, Pep. (Ha!) Censorship is always arbitrary, but as a practical matter those posts reduce the usability of the forum. I can't look at them, and sometimes can't read the posts that come before and after them. "Gratuitous" actually. (Ha?) But it *is* arbitrary, since there are published ToS and Forum Guidelines, which apply to this thread as much as anywhere else in RA - or maybe they don't, in practice, it appears. And the censorship *was* secret; I have received no public nor private notice as to why my photos are any less acceptable than any others. Pep (Feel free to ignore my posts; Marianne has made it easy to do so, and thereby courted a ban herself with a post - two actually - which were unmistakable personal harassment)

If you need notice why, then you are either an immature 15 year old or you have severe mental problems. Which is it?

From: Key MacMoragh Jackie, are you ignoring sigs? If you click on User CP then "Edit options" in the left column scroll down to "Thread Display Options" check "Show Signatures" scroll to the bottom hit "Save Changes" You're missing *massive* marketing content if you don't have the option enabled! Pep (Slows down the forums too)

An innocent picture of a cat versus a picture of a dead cat and you can't see why one might be more objectionable than the other. I'm fairly certain you are not actually that dense.
Even you would have to admit that your "if you post something I don't like, I'll post something you don't like" attitude is at least counterproductive if not downright childish.

I find the pictures of dead cats much more interesting and less disgusting than pathetic LOLCAT visuals. It's a question of taste. You might think mine is bad; I think yours is bad. Pep (Counterproductive? Is it really? I think I am bringing different discussion topics to a stale thread; but no-one *has* to look at them, as Marianne has facilitated)

But I wouldn't ignore you. I would just quit coming entirely. That's the thing. I often tell you that I like you but that you sometimes make me angry. At this point I have to add that the bad can overwhelm the good and then the whole thing is irrevocably lost. I'm not trying to be dramatic or overvalue myself. It's just the way I am.

From: Amaranthim Talon It's a kiss, a smile- a refusal to be intimidated or forced to abandon our Thread because of constant abuse and a desire to rile, depress and antagonize the community. /me sadly muses that if she were interested in intimidating a group of people, she would regard the lips as tangible evidence that she had succeeded. One does not don a badge of protest unless one feels oppressed. This person has successfully exerted power over your behavior. How gratifying. My 2cents: If you either cannot or don't want to go toe to toe with this person, and don't want to be intimidated, then ... don't be. Just go your merry way and ignore them.

Careful Key, you're out of step with a non-existent clique, who are doing a pretty bad job of implementing a policy of ignorance. Pep (You'll probably get a stern PM for quoting me in your post now!)

Perhaps it is that way also, had not thought of it like that since I rather like them regardless- I stopped being bothered by any of it ages ago. One can only slam one's head against a brick wall for so long. So - meh As you say- on my merry way.

My apologies to the rest of the followers of this thread for briefly engaging in this little fray. I'll return to my usual stance of refusing to enter a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent.
