Let me sneak into this thread once more to give you all a precious advice:

Never, and I repeat NEVER, teleport to the forum hangout with your draw distance at 512 if you are on a crappy laptop like I am :D

When building at my new sim, I keep draw distance at 512 so I can see the whole sim in my screen, and that works out just fine. When I made the mistake of teleporting to the Hangout though, my machine almost started to blow smoke, moving became impossible, and my lap got fried.

oh no!!! :(

Now..was it your laptop, or your lap that got fried??? :p

When I met him he was wearing tight blue jeans and a light blue Jimmy Buffet concert T that set off the blue of his eyes. That and the longish blond hair- what can I tell ya? He still looks damn good though he tells me I need glasses :)

Good morning all. Today is tax day - I sent my check off on Monday.

I have never attended a political rally of any sort before, but today I am going across the street at lunch time for the Tea Party.

Have a good day all.

/me swipes a few pots of coffee and wanders off to check on work crud.

Yes, I am not sure I can make it over to Lafayette Park for the one here in DC. :D

I've heard of those things, but I thought they were some myth.

They are becoming the stuff of legend. I have a good accountant I guess. I bet he's one of those "radicals".

have fun.

my day promises to be much grimmer. i am taking the day off work to go visit a friend in the hospital. unless there is a miracle, these will be his last days. :(

ohhhh, 3Ring. *hugs you close* It's good that you're able to spend time with your friend now.

It's those times when loved ones die and I've not been able to say my farewells and words of love and encouragement that haunt me. :(

Pep, since your mailbox is full I decided to post what would have been a PM here...

Lula, perhaps you could consider putting anyone who posts such pictures on ignore, as others have done. And hopefully everyone will have the sense to not quote them unedited.

I try really hard to not be political here. But I do express bewilderment at some the the bullet points listed.
Yes, I normally try to stay away from much in the way of politics in this thread, but the link was the easiest way to answer 3's question of what it was.

I don't agree with every point, but almost nobody agrees with 100% of the opinions of their favorite political candidate or party.

Well- Lil- according to the op piece in the LA Times - Teaparty people are tin-foil hat wearing radicals :D

(I won't be attending- not from lack of tin-foil but it is Tax Day and the onlyone near me is WAY FAR AWAY. )
In this case, I proudly wear the tin foil hat. :D

The Tea Party movement is impressive because it started from nothing. No political party, no professional spin doctors. Just a ground swell of people who have one thing in common: a shred of common sense that tells them we can't keep spending money we don't have and expect there to be no consequences down the road.
Many of the Tea Party supporters would actually, these days, call themselves Political Atheists more than any other designation.

I got enough back from the State to pay the Feds and have a bit left over for dinner and a few cocktails.

I was lucky enough to get my money back from both gangs of thieves.

The rest of your post is QFT as well. :)

Long, warm hugs, 3Ring. I'm so sorry, hon. I just lost someone too this past week. So sudden, no warning..just gone.

Being beside your friend to let him know you are there is a gift. You and your friend will be in my thoughts today. Take care, sweetie.

And you still owe me a dance!

Ok...one more comment. Are they still calling these rallies tea bagging?

Because....I really hope you use Urban Dictionary before you use the term yourself. :)
