Frankly, yes. Enough people here have bought into his sometimes asshole/sometimes nice guy routine that it's kept him going quite happily. If he wants to be an asshat out in the fora in general, that's his business. But when he does it in this thread, and then tries to hide behind the spirit of this thread, that's entirely something different.

Some even defend him when he does go off the rails... God knows why.

Hi threadies!

Speaking of cats (an not gross piccies - ick!), I have a new kitty here at home IRL. Very happy t'have her. Shes still super skittish, though.

Anyway, my weekend.

On Friday those of us in my class at HardKnock Elementary got to see the Easter Bunny! Yay! I was brave an got my piccie taken with 'em.

Then later inna evening a friend took me to see a beautiful thing made my Spiral Watcher. Incredible work! I wish you could see it in action, cuz the movement an stuff is what really makes it.

Saturday an Sunday were both kinda busy f'r me. I helped a friend with a video on the new Second Childhood Network Kiosks (an got one set up on Livingtree), I went to my friend Adz's Rez Day party, I went to an informal get together in Bay City, I built stuff f'r my stores, An did a couple piccies for a photo contest. Here's my two entries. It hasta be somewhat funny an also use the stores products in the shot. I tink I did okay with 'em.

and

An that's about it this time! Have a g'night an g'mornin!

What an very insenstive thing to post. Especially on this thread. Hell, the bloody photo itself says "dead cat".
I feel like throwing up every time I see a LOLCAT, so it's just as insensitive to post those photos.

Pep (I'll do a deal; LOLCATs don't get posted and I won't post more realistic photos of cats)

PS This is the "nicest" one I could find, but of course there are worse.

As Mo says "play nice", and I do the same. I merely respond in kind, whether in this thread or elsewhere. So if you deliberately attempt to provoke me here with puke-making pictures of dyslexic animals (presumably your version of "humour" hiding behind the spirit of this thread) then here is the appropriate place for me to retaliate.

Your problem, and those of occasional interferers here, seems to be that you take even levity seriously, and are paranoiacally looking for a malicious intent in all my posts, as was demonstrated recently when you erroneously called me, in *this* thread, a liar and refused to recant. I feel sorry for you, but my sorrow is not so great as my contempt.

Pep (may I remind you that it was *you* that broke the truce you requested)

on weekends i don't typically get any real blocks of quality time to spend on the computer because my time is usually spent with family. but that isn't to say i don't sneak on now and again. :D
Glad you could sneak on yesterday. It was good to meet you in person. Jackie.

I haz sun! Rumors are true, it really does exist.

Too much has passed over the weekend here for me to comment now. It's Monday...it's a new week...and it's sunny. Take a reef out of the gallants, and let the Westerlies carry me to where they will.

Yay, more rain

Right now there is a backhoe right outside my window. The Gas Company is installing a new line and moving the meter from inside the basement to outside the house, which will eliminate the habit of the meter reader showing up 5 minutes after I leave the house all the time.

Cute shoes,Claire.

I'd just like to point out to everyone that there has been no breakfast this morning, nor coffee.

I hope everyone feels duly chastised.

What do you guys normally do on a Sunday?

This Saturday I took my daughter to the MFA (muh-faah - the Museum of Fine Arts), and she had a blast, even though she complained like mad before we got there.

Sunday I sat in the sun while she and a friend played. We were there long enough for me to read an entire old sci-fi novel by my main man Clifford Simak. One of his worst, but still good enough: "The Visitors".

Then Mr. Mac came for the changing of the guard and I walked until my butt felt back to normal.

Anyways, While talking to her "friends", she whispered "Dont! They'd hate me if they knew we were back together."

For me, that is a deal-breaker. I say, at that line you just walk away.

Do you want to be with someone who can put you on the shelf when you're inconvenient?

From: Tod69 Talamasca

Yet- I'm the "asshole". Her friends say so. So she thinks so.

Sometimes the "asshole" is the best part to play. You get to do the right thing without everyone patting you on the back for it.
