For the record I rather enjoy the Lol cats and am disturbed by images of animals being abused - I had to make my donations to shelters anonymously for ten years before I stopped getting appeals with sad stories and pictures.

Jokes about dead cats don't necessarily bother me so much - if they are funny and don't include any suffering. But I wouldn't post them myself and certainly not where I know people would be bothered by them.

Tod, I'm so sorry this is happening to you. It's so painful. I think you've gotten good advice from 3-Ring and everyone else here. Just in case my two cents might help you think things through here it is - I understand if you ignore it.

When you talk about what *she* needs and what *she* deserves and when you can't talk about getting over her without replacing her with another woman it sounds to me more like addiction than love.

When you can give her back the responsibility to take care of her own needs and you can accept that only you are responsible for your own happiness you'll be on the road to recovery.

I don't think you can expect to ever have a really good relationship with a significant other until you have learned to be happy on your own without a partner.

1. Pep is a member of the forums and has been known to many of us for a long, long time. He is who he is, this is the Pep that we have all come to know and like (perhaps love to hate?) Whoever thinks he's wrong, he will not change for you or any of us.

2. Those that have been slighted by his comments, should be able to defend themselves if they were so insulted. I don't think anyone else needs to jump into the fray.

3. I myself, have a deep admiration for Maureen. She has somehow become step-mom to this thread and puts in endless time keeping up with who has posted before or not, endless breakfasts, etc... She doesn't have to do this. So, for that reason alone, anything she asks, I abide by. I would hope others do as well.

This is actually the only thread I read on this board for the most part. My interest in SL is pretty much zilch these days and the rest of the threads usually turn into crap by some troll or another. I read this thread every day though because I like the people on it and would miss you threaps otherwise.

Can't you two go make your own thread and argue? I don't even care why you two are arguing. It hurts my eyes and makes me rather read wow forums. That is bad when pre-teen's with acne and nerd rage look more appealing...
