Good morning, all.

First, for anyone who cares, the wedding is off. After my second failed SL relationship, I give up, and will just focus on the businesses.

Second, my relationship with SL is souring overall. Their corporate decisions lately leave a lot to be desired and are turning my stomach. Something better change quickly, or my user hours are going to drop significantly.

Found out on the drive to work that Clear Channel laid off their most popular morning DJ in our market (and my favorite radio station) yesterday...wtf is the corporate thought behind that piece of non-brilliance?

I think I just want to go back to bed.

*bleh*

Sorry about the nuptuals.

Why should the level of management incompetency in the radio business be any less than the rest of our corporations? I used to think having an MBA and such meant you knew how to run a business in general, and when you took over one, you knew something about that particular business, but that isn't the case anymore. CEO's run one business into the ground, parachute out and are given another business to run into the ground.

Sorry about the bad news, Honey. Been there, done that, but just like in RL, they're not worth sweating over ;)

We should start a First Wives Club type of thing for SL :)

Good morning, threadies! On the run this morning -- hope you don't mind some instant coffee to get you started! :p

I'll pass on the instant too. Since you seem so rushed, I'll provide a nice breakfast in bed today instead. Seems a few people could use a treat. I know I didn't want to leave the comfort of mine this morning :)

Oh, I'm very familiar with those. A bit too familiar :o Not as good as the ones from Delicious Orchards, but darn close :)

Thanks all. As with everything, this too will pass, but I appreciate the support more than you know.

I dislike that SL has acquired OnRez and XStreetSL and are planning to merge them. I liked that there were two places I could run searches at the same time. Never had an account on XStreetSl, though. Just used it, rarely, to search for stuff. Just hated the layout for some reason. Every search seemed to bring back everything and nothing (everything that might use the word/nothing I was looking for specificially; OnRez seemed more capable of narrower search).

Still ill. Took some medication. Coughing stopped. Throat coated with some substance. Floating, might not be in good way. Cannot tell if I have hands.

Oh, and I'm at work.

Sorry to hear you're still not well Lexxi. That floaty feeling could be fun at home, but not so much at the office. Blah.

I agree about OnRez. I was just saying the same thing this morning. I always found it easier to navigate, much cleaner looking. I never bought anything on either, preferring to go inworld to make the final purchase just because it's the way I like doing things but I usually found things easier with OnRez, particularly the free stuff.

I never used any of the off world sites, but it sounds like they were pretty efficient. Maybe too efficient. In true WalMart fashion LL seems to have removed their competition .

Some of the free stuff was only on OnRez, well out of world might have also been at other place.

Funny how SLexchange became XstreetSL. What was the point? Remove SL? But they kept it on the end. went to Xstreet.com once by accident - actually different organization/company. Wonder if they had any increase in traffic from confused XstreetSl people.
