When this old world gets me down And there's no love to be found I close my eyes and soon I find I'm in a playground in my mind Where the children laugh and the children play And we sing a song all day
"My name is Michael, I got a nickel I got a nickel, shiny and new I'm gonna buy me all kinds of candy That's what I'm gonna do"
See the little children Living in a world that I left behind Happy little children In the playround in my mind
Oh the wonders that I find In the playground in my mind In a world that used to be Close your eyes and follow me Where the children laugh and the children play And we sing a song all day
"My girl is Cindy When we get married, we're gonna have a baby or two We're gonna let them visit their grandma That's what we're gonna do"
"My name is Cindy When we get married, were gonna have a baby or two We're gonna let them vist their grandma That's what we're gonna do"
See the little children See how they're playing so happy In the playround in my mind
Ba ba ba ba ba ba ba La la la la la la la

yeah, nothing prevents a child avatar at all or rp as a child as long as it's not sexual.
Stores are iffy, depending on how they are done.
If a child avatar tps into the store and it is marked mature, then the onus is on the child av not the store owner. But if the store is in a pg area with adult items or such then the store owner is likely going to get a warning on content.

Dear OnRez Marketplace User:
On January 20, Linden Lab, creators of the Second Life virtual world, announced that we acquired both OnRez and Xstreet SL and revealed plans to merge the services together to create an official web-based marketplace for Second Life goods and services. A byproduct of this decision is that the OnRez marketplace will cease operations on February 11, 2009 and all current users will need to move their assets, balances and account information over to Xstreet SL by that time. We wanted to write to you today to explain how this migration will work, address any concerns and clearly explain how the long-term benefits will outweigh the immediate inconvenience.
Fairly early on, Linden Lab saw the inherent value that web marketplaces such as Xstreet SL and OnRez offer to buyers, sellers and content creators. After watching this industry grow, we recognized that the reach of these services would be greatly improved if they were integrated directly into the Second Life experience. Creating one centralized marketplace for all Second Life goods will greatly improve search, help drive traffic to inworld stores and enable merchants to market their products to a global audience.
In order to do this, we’re asking all OnRez customers to create accounts with Xstreet and move any balances you have through Second Life to your new Xstreet account. We are also asking all merchants to please take items you currently have for sale via OnRez and create listings for those items on Xstreet under your new Xstreet account. We’ll be driving a lot of new traffic to Xstreet in the coming weeks, so we’d recommend doing this soon. You can find some helpful information on creating listings on Xstreet in our Merchants and Shoppers FAQ.
As we move forward, we’d love to hear your thoughts on how we can incorporate OnRez-specific functions and features directly into the Xstreet platform. We have a forum set up for ecommerce, and we are interested in hearing about how your current experience could be improved or any features you could use that currently don’t exist. We do apologize for any hassle, but we promise that your effort now will be well worth the added benefits that having one centralized marketplace will provide.
Your commitment and ingenuity have enabled OnRez and the industry as a whole to grow to this point, we sincerely hope you’ll continue to play an integral role in this next stage.

From: Amaranthim Talon I love Maxfield Parish! Have you seen "What Dreams May Come'? I don't remember it at the moment and I can't seem to find it with Google but I did see an exhibit of a lot of his work at the DeYoung in San Francisco, a long time ago. Plus some where in this house I have a book of his work so I probably have seen it. We recently did a lot of rearranging and now a lot of books are in boxes. Some of my favorites are "Day Break" "Reveries" "Ecstasy" ETA: Oops they changed the pictures on me. I fixed it now.

@ Kaimi- sorry I shoould have been clearer but it was late- What Dreams May Come is a Robin Williams, Cuba Gooding movie where the visuals in the film are quite stunning At one point Robin Williams says, "I've always wanted to live in a Maxfield Parrish world (or universe? not sure exact quote).

Good morning, all. First, for anyone who cares, the wedding is off. After my second failed SL relationship, I give up, and will just focus on the businesses. Second, my relationship with SL is souring overall. Their corporate decisions lately leave a lot to be desired and are turning my stomach. Something better change quickly, or my user hours are going to drop significantly. Found out on the drive to work that Clear Channel laid off their most popular morning DJ in our market (and my favorite radio station) yesterday...wtf is the corporate thought behind that piece of non-brilliance? I think I just want to go back to bed. *bleh*
