Well I survived my trip to the dentist, I am sore but at least it was not as bad I feared, no root canal today :)

I hope he didn't file down those darling little canines of yours...

G'mornin thread!

I had a lot of stuff t'do this week outside of SL, so I wasn't in SL near as much as usual. Still, I ended up at some cool stuff, I tink. I prob'ly did more dancin' than usual f'r me, that's f'r sure!

On Friday, I first ended up at the opening of the new sim for Erin Telamasca's HoofIt! horses, called Nectaris. It was fun, an the sim has riding trails an all sorts of fun stuff. I especially liked finding out that she was inspired by Livingtree. :-)

A bit after leaving there, I ended up in another party, where I tink I was jes about the youngest avvie there -- an I mean by rez date. I copied down part of the guest list: Lumiere Noir, Mash Mandala, Baccara Rhodes, Prisqua Newall, Madame Maracas, SuezanneC Baskerville, Chance Abattoir, Strife Onizuka, Caroline Apollo, Montana Laurasia, Jurin Juran, Cutter Rubio, Teagan Linden, nik385 Doesburg, Me, RacerX Gullwing, Munchfower Zaius, Madagascar Few, Jopsy Pendragon, Misty Rhodes, Kris Ritter, Cristiano Midnight, Gus Plisskin, Lukas Thetan, Caliandris Pendragon, Cutter Rubio, Madagascar Few, Zayante Hegal. Caroline Apollo, and Chilly Cummings. The occassion was Pituca and Garth FairChang's 5th SL wedding anniversary! Serious old school peoples!

Here, jes cuz I tink this forum would appreciate it, a piccie featuring one person well-known 'round these parts, Strife! Yay!

I also got to check out, on Saturday night, AM Radio's new build for the University of Kentucky. Another cool atmospheric place, like he does. Really cool. I need to do more piccies there, cuz I was kinda tired an did't really get many. Check it out in the University of KY sim.

Other than that, my friend Krystal did some fireworks, I did some building, there was a Bay City Alliance meeting (that I lost power right in the middle of!), and I did other shoppin' an blimpin' an explorin' too.

An f'r no good reason, here's a couple other random piccies from th' weekend. :-)

Near miss in Bay City:

All snowed in in Wengen:

An a nice shot of Livingtree, though a window:

An that's it!

Ya, I was all "oh, it's so-an-so!" in my mind. Was cool that a lotta them seemed to really like meetin' or seein' me there, too. :-)

Oh? Were you there? It's just not an A list party if HoneyBear is not there.

Well Mari, come on sweety, it's not like you're a small-time player around here. Dare I say that if anyone knows their SL personalities and history...that your name is almost as well known as some of those? ;)

Thank you :)

Perfection is the Rose,
Whose delicate petals are softer than any silk,
Whose fragrant scent brings the very air to life,
Perfection is the Rose,
For it is both a fragile thing and an enduring thing,
For it is the embodiment of life in its very essence,
Perfection is the Rose,
If I could just taste the sweetness of the Rose and,
If only by its tasting I could become perfection too.

LOL Yosef, while I wish that were true...I haven't quite hit the A list yet ;)

But it earns you a hug for saying so :)

LOL...big mouth or not, you're known.

I have to admit that it does give me a little thrill to go to a concert, and a lot of people there know me. At the VLB concert the other night, everyone was saying hi and a picture of me ended up going on their video screen for about 15 minutes...it was very cool.

My star may not be rising fast, but it's rising ;)

Ya, true. It is kinda cool in its own way, ya. It's someting I've experienced a bit in first life, too, an it is kinda neat to experience. Maybe I'm jes not wired f'r the "I'm a big name" sorta celebrity stuck-up stuff. :-)

Still, if I did't tink it was cool t'hang out with all them folks, would I have listed all their names? ;-)

*waves and blows a kiss to Kaimi*

As many as you want. :)

How's it going in my old neck of the woods?
Back atcha!

Nice clear morning here, well as clear as it ever seems to get anymore. And warm enough for me to be sitting by an open window in my tee shirt.
Whats it like back there?

YAY! Another first for my family!

My parents SUV was the victim of this area's FIRST Black Ice accident!

Yes- they're ok. Sore, but Ok.

The Chevy Trailblazer is done for.

Kinda weird as we get older, the roles start to reverse. Now it's me picking THEM up.
Thank goodness they're ok. I've had some experience driving on ice, black and otherwise, it certainly can be tricky.

Me too...today is day 3 of this headache, and I really think I might have flung her over the loft railing had she woke me up. As it is, she was a little delight this morning and I remembered why I love her :)
Oooh you poor thing. I'm sending you headache-be-gone energy - I hope you feel good again very soon. Kitties can be comforting can't they? At least when they aren't keeping you awake at night.

Yay! Mari's Weekend Update arrived in the mail. My Monday morning is complete. :)

That party sounds like a blast; I am sure the conversations were funny and clever, too.

Loved the pic of Strife!!! Thanks for all the pics, though. I really enjoy seeing them. :)

The conversations there *were* really good an fun, an while I did know a lot of the folks there from previous stuff, it was neat to meet 'em all. All really good peoples, from this experience.

Ah, yes, the early morning marine layer. I remember it well.

I like picturing you sitting at your PC with the ocean breeze wafting through your open window. :)

Here? It's an achingly beautiful, crisp autumn morning. Currently 47 F. Azure sky...a few clouds...and the possibility of a snow shower overnight. :)

There's a big parade on Saturday, and a bunch of other stuff. Plus it'll give me an excuse to stop at The Mohican Sun on the way back and get warmed up for Vegas the following week......

still considering hitting Jive Turkey in Brooklyn and letting me live vicariously through your taste buds?

No marine layer today and pollutants in the air are down enough that I can see the closest mountains pretty clearly - oops I see they are starting to haze over now. When I was a kid you could almost always see them and not just the close ones, the big ones four rows back too. Oh well.

That sounds nice too. I don't want to do cold weather any more but I know it can be beautiful.
