YAY! Another first for my family!
My parents SUV was the victim of this area's FIRST Black Ice accident! Yes- they're ok. Sore, but Ok. The Chevy Trailblazer is done for. Kinda weird as we get older, the roles start to reverse. Now it's me picking THEM up. _____________________

@Gabriele - whew! Glad you made it through another trip to the dentist. To me, the anticipation (dread) always seems worse than the actual appointment. Not all dentists are like Dr. Scrivello (Little Shop of Horrors ), but don't try to tell me that the day before I'm due to see one.@Tod - no novacaine...uh... dude? Sorry to hear about your parents. But, cars can be replaced. Any accident you can walk away from is merely an inconvenience. @Pep - Uh...isn't the idea to avoid dental trips? So...maybe I should hold onto that candy...yeah...for the health of the thread. *sigh* The things one must do for others.... @Mo - Thanks for the joe! I'm getting 4 new tires today in fact. The trees have done enough banging up of my car as it is. I'm heded up to Plymouth on Friday for the weekend, , and the weather is supposed to turn a bit wintry in the next couple of days. That's a bummer Tod, but as long as they are OK is all that matters. |
