Possibly, if I can find the time. I have a lot to get done before I leave for Vegas next Wednesday. I just found out my Tires didn't come in as expected today so I have to put that off at least until tomorrow, possibly Wednesday.

:(

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

Mmmm now that seems delightful, I might have to source some :)

It's great in rice pudding - and lot's of other Indian sweets.

This reminds me of when we had outdoor cats. They used to lay dead animals at our feet or in front of the refrigerator. But often they'd come in with still living prey and I was always rushing little animals over to Wildlife Rescue to be nursed back to health. One time one of our cats, Max, came in with two doves in his mouth. (They were both dead.)

/me waves through a cloud of smoke and ash...

Morning threadies. Wow, I was finally able to breathe at home this morning in LA county, only to come to work in Orange county and find it's just as bad if not worse here. At least we're open today. The big Beckman facility nearby is closed, as are all the schools in the area.

@Gabrielle, hi there! Although belatedly... nice to see you..

Ooops, got a meeting starting. See you all later.. :)

stay safe!

I used to let my cats come and go with a pet door.... One morning I awoke from a particularly sound sleep to discover feathers in bed with me, all that remained of some hapless bird.

I discovered levitation that morning...., and the kitty door was closed at night thereafter.

 One of our current (indoor) cats brings us fluffy little cat toys while we sleep sometimes there are 6 or 7 on the bed when we wake up. It would not be so charming if they were dead bodies.

Every cat I have ever owned eventually got to the point of bringing me "presents" in the form of dead mice. You just have to remember that it is "catanese" for "I LOVE YOU A WHOLE BUNCH". It makes the clean up task much more pleasant if you keep telling yourself that :p

Wise words. But one more reason to keep the cats in doors, just the same.

My cat used to bring critters in all the time - birds, little tiny snakes, grasshoppers, mice - and they were usually maimed so they could get away but would still move and provide entertainment. Thank goodness she never actually brought any to my bed. Though I did wake one morning to find a rather large and fully alive blue jay flying around my kitchen.

Where in the hell is Trout when we need him? I tried my best but this thread should have really gotten his verbose word wizardry juices flowing.:
