/me waves through a cloud of smoke and ash... Morning threadies. Wow, I was finally able to breathe at home this morning in LA county, only to come to work in Orange county and find it's just as bad if not worse here. At least we're open today. The big Beckman facility nearby is closed, as are all the schools in the area. @Gabrielle, hi there! Although belatedly... nice to see you.. Ooops, got a meeting starting. See you all later..

From: Amaranthim Talon Morning all Todd- dude, you ARE weird! No pain killer??? OMG - I'm surprised no one made a reference to the Dental patient in the Lil' Shop of Horrors remake The one thing I miss when I was younger was when I had braces. My orthodontist had his cute lil' assistant tighten the wires. She was too short to lean over me, so she'd turn my head and cradle it against her chest. At 14, this was the greatest highlight of the visit And when the braces came off, so did the enamel on my teeth, which let the calcium leech out, which now has me with brittle teeth.

From: Lindal Kidd I hope he didn't file down those darling little canines of yours... Nope my fangs are as sharp as ever t'was a molar that was the source of the problem - it bite down on something too hard and too sharp, cracking the tooth *winces at the memory* Mmmm now that seems delightful, I might have to source some From: LittleMe Jewell @Gabby - Glad the dentist went better than expected. I always have to have lots and lots of pain killer. We never went to the dentist as kids because we could not afford it. When I started going as an adult, I had to have roughly half my teeth filled -- and many of those were big, deep cavities, so the drilling was close to the roots. Now, many of those fillings have worn away from my teeth grinding and needed to be replaced. Many have been turned into crowns because there is not enough tooth left to fill. And most of the work seems to be very close to nerves, so quite often I have to ask for more pain killer part way through the procedures. Ouch you poor thing, you are far worse off than me. If it were not for the "incident" above I would be blessed with near perfect teeth - just two smallish fillings that I had when I was a teen. Now one of those fillings has gotten bigger and the size of the actual tooth smaller but I do consider myself very fortunate all the same. From: Allegria Kanto @Gabrielle, hi there! Although belatedly... nice to see you.. Nice to see you too Alle *waves*

OK, don't faint, I have a question. I remember some time ago, there were problems with avatars...folding in half at random times. It never happened to me, but just yesterday, it occurred about 3-4 times. Is there something I should be doing or not doing? Some setting I've messed with or need to tweak? That yoga position looks awfully painful.

Pics or it didn't happen.
I don't think there was anything you could do about it. SL was awfully borked yesterday, it was probably due to their problems.

LOL, I *knew* you'd say that!!! I did think about taking a picture, for just that reason, but, of course, got diverted. From: Jerboa Haystack Was it after you wore the kitty avatar? Maybe the animation for it was stuck? You know, it was afterwards. Good point. I'll check when I get inworld. Maybe just logging out and logging in will have done the trick.
