Is that SL time?
Yes.
Where can I buy a clock that really works and displays SL time?

Lol yes that is exactly the logic one commonly hears from disturbed kids.
/me laughs and wipes her pop off the monitor.

Thank you, sweetie - I needed that.

Magic! I just won a tenner from Charly as I bet him I could get you to put something in brackets after your name before the weekend was over!
I never thought about betting with myself as a way to ensure that I always would win.

There's an upside Amaranthim. Conan makes me look pleasant, well-balanced and caring by comparison.
That is sometimes debatable.

minced beef, gravy, few veggies, topped with mashed taters and cheese.

I stuck a glug of worcester sauce in the gravy too.
How much is a 'glug'?

Speaking of food; G and I just found the best little Irish bar and restaurant directly across from our new apartment. Like, it's actually owned and run by a REAL Irish chef, and everyone there had an Irish lilt to their voice. Unreal. He was in his glory. I had shepards pie for the first time in eons and it was fantastic. I think we're really going to like living in this town :)

You didn't miss much - I think most of those pages were filled with Conan and Pep bantering and then with Conan and <fill in the blank> bantering. Was good entertainment, but nothing critical in it.

love that pic !!

I supose you advocate turning the other cheek then?
:) I do advocate it for people who claim to be Christians, if they are slapped in the face. For everyone, I recommend ignoring childish insults - for the sake of your own dignity.

From years of being the "shortest guy" in school, I have to agree.

Spent many years letting folks in school tease, pick on, and start fights with me. Got tired of it around 16. Started fighting back. BEST therapy EVER!!! ;)

Altho- people should understand 'retaliate' doesnt necessarily mean "beating the crap out of". ;)
Congratulations. One must stand up to bullies, but it can be very difficult. It's best if you can back them down verbally, but if they insist on violence you've got to find a way to stop them.

That pizza looks good...

I am sure he stole it from somewhere else..

Coocoo!

Haven't been by in a while, but it's real nice to see this thread is still going on strong! I think I've missed about 20 000 posts so there's no way in hell I'll ever be able to catch up. Anyone want to give me a recap in , Oh, I don't know, three sentences or less? Hmm, I guess not. Whatever I missed, I'm sure there was a lot of food, flirting, and good humour involved :)

I'm sad to see the 'New' 'Facelifted' Forum isn't up yet - or was that cancelled?

Me goes back a few pages to atleast sort of catch up...

Please do not ever confuse me with someone who would choose peace overall or would advocate peace. I believe a healthy lust for blood is a requisite for our species- and turning the other cheek sounds wimpy, inane, and pointless. I say - pick ur fights and make damn sure the other guy is very civilized... (think about it- how many of u have been in a live or die situation- and how did u feel about it?)

If I or someone else is physically attacked I'll try to defend - with deadly force, unless the attacker is obviously so much weaker than I that I can subdue and control him/her. But I'll always choose peace if it is at all possible and I believe that eventually we will all be civilized and peaceful. I've never had to resort to violence yet. and I've never allowed myself to be bullied.
