Not sure how to describe this place, a work of art I guess, but it gets a big WOW in my book. Very much worth a visit.

Claire, what's this about packing? Did I miss something?

Hope you had a good time away :D

Ima moving house in the next couple of weeks, find out tomorrow or Weds if we got it. Not 100% sold on the idea yet, but not much choice. Mum has some serious bribery to do if she wants to convince me lol.

I personally prefer smooth PB, but for licking of of ears or other body parts, I always sort of leaned towards chocolate or honey or whipped cream or even ice cream, though extreme cold items are not necessarily good for some areas.

My dear..... you have not yet met the Master of the Ice Cube!!! ;)

Hey threadies! I'm just back from four magical, workfree days of sun, blue skies and the beauties of the California coast.... :D
Welcome back Allegria! I'm glad you enjoyed CA.

Jif - bleh. I like peanut butter - crunchy and smooth made from peanuts and salt, without hydrogenated vegetable oil and sugar.

Cold and women sometimes go quite well........... Cold and guys will quite often cause the opposite reaction of what we wish.

If I were ever chosen to be on a jury I would try to be very conscientious about it. But they always ask if anyone in your family has ever been arrested and I always tell them that my brother is an activist who has been arrested for civil disobedience. And then I'm the the first person the prosecutor dismisses.

I do just the opposite. I tell them I come from a family of cops and the defense lawyere usually gives me the thumbs down.

Just ask the judge in the open if he intends to instruct the jurors on their right and duty to judge not only the facts of the case, but to judge the law no matter what the judge tells you. That will usually get you removed from the list all together. Judges don't like people who know their rights. Or tell them you won't convict anyone in any case where the state can not produce an actual victim.

Yeah, that's a great way to get off jury duty.

..............so what's the point in knowing about this important right if you never intend to USE the knowledge for any kind of good, rather than as a ready excuse to get out of a very important civil duty?

Oh, it is better to keep your knowledge hidden, and use it to monkey wrench the system. But if you really want off, letting the judge know that you know your rights will get you kicked off quickly.

Personally, I would urge everyone to demand a jury trial for every offense. Never plead guilty. The system will collapse pretty quickly.

Everyone should know about jury nullification, whether they use it as an excuse or not. It's a good "secret" to be aware of.

The way traffic tickets are "handled" these days is an abomination to any sense of "justice" I'm aware of. My last speeding ticket was a real eye opener. The hearing was a farce.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

As I said above - in many ways our legal system is about as f**ked up as our political system.

Well, when you consider what many of our politicians did before they ran for office.......
