No.

It's a hard pill tp swallow, but I think people are going to have move to the "acceptance" phase of the grieving process. I don't think The Providers will reverse themselves any more than they have.

Hey! We only bite rodents and the occasional fish!

Vampires, on the other hand, bite EVERYONE.

Top o' the mornin' Threadgoers. :)

I hope everyone had a great weekend. I did! The Jerboa has a new hidey hole. Yup, a little black-sand spot to call me own. 2048sqm sandbar with a pirate ship near. Yarr!

So...um...you don't need to look under the couch for me any more. Nope..no need to check if I'm down there at all really. In fact forget I was ever down there. That'd be the best thing to do. Yup yup. ;)

Jury duty Amara? Awwww.

Try these when you're there:
1. I can tell if he's guilty by his shoes.
2. I'll know how to decide as soon as I see the defendant's aura
3. If a police officer told me the sky was green, I'd believe him.
and..
4. I let the voices tell me who is guilty.

Conga rats on the new digs Mouse {after reading that here I just had to plagiarizer it and who better to use it on then our own resident rodent?}

Jury duty released me at 2 so I am home :) No resorting to voices either :D

Gorgeous clock tower Mari!

Hi folks - I know it's been a while but I am having a Monday Night World Music party at the cafe tonight - 6-9PM SLT, all are welcome. I don't mean to sully this magnificent thread with a plug from my place, but so many of you have been asking when I'm having another party and I wanted to let you all know the time is now! :D

Tonight I'll be celebrating the music of S. Africa and especially the great Miriam Makeba, who passed away yesterday at 76. Hope to see everyone! Have a great day.

I heard today that she passed on - it is a great loss to the world. I wish I could make it but RL makes it doubtful- have fun for me twice!

Hi Michelle - no, I don't think you're alone on this one; seems many are upset about it.

And welcome to the thread! :) For your first post here:

Hey thanks! I'm meta-upset though. It's the threads of people being upset that are bugging me. Now that LL implemented the reasonable solution being proposed by the more reasonable residents, it's just the shrill rantings of the something-for-nothing, linden labs can do no right crowd, it's the end of the world as we know it*.

* FACT, in a post I had at one point I outlined six other times the world was supposed to end, then didn't. This too shall pass.

Just stay here. It is nasty in those forums. Pull up a chair and Brenda will be along to duct tape you to it shortly.

Well, no, that's not JUST the shrill rantings as outlined above. Can you tell me this...do YOU own an OS sim? I do. I'm less than pleased, and not afraid to be vocal about it, and I am not one of the LL can do no right crowd. I purchased a product just two months ago, and now they are changing completely the product I purchased.

This is our fun thread. Welcome to it. But try not lumping everybody into one category.

Jury duty ain't really that bad. I did it last year, and although the case I was on was trivial, I was pleased that everyone on the jury took the job seriously, and really tried hard to get it right.
Well, in truth, I work for the police dept and have several close police officer friend, so I always seem to be one of the first ones dismissed - maybe they think I will automatically be biased or something.

Guess I will have to let Lil and Ann handle that one because I really don't like PB and it doesn't cross my lips, unless of course it's in a Reser's.
I personally prefer smooth PB, but for licking of of ears or other body parts, I always sort of leaned towards chocolate or honey or whipped cream or even ice cream, though extreme cold items are not necessarily good for some areas.

Hey threadies! I'm just back from four magical, workfree days of sun, blue skies and the beauties of the California coast.... :D I'm not even attempting to catch up with more than the last couple pages, but hope everyone is fine and havin' fun.

Mari, I did see the clocktower, really nice work!

Jerboa, Congrats! on the new home. A pirate ship, huh? I'll bet you'll look cute with a tiny patch over one little rodent eye, heehee.

Claire, what's this about packing? Did I miss something?

Amar, glad you got an early day. Are you done with your service now? or do you have to go back? I'm on jury duty this week too, funnily enough. We have a call in system, so I didn't have to report today, and I believe tomorrow is a court holiday too. So hopefully, I'll complete my service without having to serve. :p

No, I don't. I read the blog post and KB article about them and determined they weren't suitable for my needs. Rest of reply deleted to NOT bring the openspace thing in here with me.
