Hi Roisin - Welcome Back !!!

Did you end up with tons of rain down there the last few weeks? That first week, when I was down there also, it poured almost every day - more rain than I have ever experienced in Mexico.
Yes, it was *ABSURD* how much rain we got! My neighbor said she hadn't seen so much rain in the 16 years she'd been living in Playa del Carmen.

Fortunately, the weather for our two weeks in Oaxaca was *much* better!

Anyone seen the film "Yanks" with Richard Gere? I just saw it, and found out its filmed in my home town! I even recognised most of the places lol. how cool is that?

Good shot. Just practice alot and play with all the settings. Out of all the pics I have posted here, I probably have 5 times that many that are not worth showing to people. The great thing about digital cameras is that it doesn't cost money if the pic isn't what you like.

Thanks this is literally maybe my first time I have ever photographed anything.
I have only figured out how to do basic things and it was bit hard at first.
Not sure about moving photos yet but I main going to use photos to make
paintings, textures and similar things.
I was bit intimidated and confused for last few weeks before I figured out
how to take maybe 5 images.
Luckily I had few friends offer suggestions.
Later I will take sidewalk Fall photos of mud puddles,etc to share.
