Ahh, thanks Jer!

I don't know what time you crashed, but I was in bed by 11ish my time (I think!).

OMG! I remember the original book. I think I have it stored away, alongside "Snowcrash".and "Dianetics"

Well- I enjoyed Snowcrash - never attempted Dianetics - but I thought he he was a good writer (Hubbard) until I realized he was a nutcase.

Are we talking 'Mein Kampf" in the original German or a translation? I loved Snow Crash. Neal Stephenson is my very favorite author right now. I just finished reading the Baroque Cycle for the second time. I think I probably read one or two L. Ron Hubbard science fiction books years ago... Back in the seventies I had a beer bar in downtown Riverside Ca. and every morning when I walked over there from my house I passed a Scientology Center and listened to several different people give me their spiel.

Re: Lindal's class.

Ok, that was a ridiculous amount of fun. Thanks Lindy for being such a good sport.

Yes, I WAS there. As my alt Ladyfox :D

I just wanted to thank everyone who came to my class Friday. I had a wonderful time too, even though you kept me spinning at redline the whole time. AND I got to neck with both Chris AND Trout. :D Not to mention making more in tips than I have in about the previous six months. You made my day, week, month.

You are, all of you (including everyone who wanted to come, but couldn't make it) the best friends I could hope for. *snif*

Finally back home! Had to poke my head in here and say hi. What'd I miss in the last three weeks? (Besides the Open Space fiasco.)

Hi Roisin - Welcome Back !!!

Did you end up with tons of rain down there the last few weeks? That first week, when I was down there also, it poured almost every day - more rain than I have ever experienced in Mexico.
