I had a cool experience and thought I wd share-

I was in IM today with a customer who ended up a friend a couple nights ago. While we were talking she sd- "hey do u know so and so?" and i said, "yes! I do- have known him for ages." And she sd, "well I know him too and he asked me today if I knew u." Turns out he had seen her tag, "Fan of Talon Faire" and it spurred the question. So it is an - ooh what a small world- moment and a wow- my name - store name- is know somewhere - moment. :D

Thanks for listening :D

Did anyone take pix from last nights class? I went on Flickr and was surprised nothing showed up. I was a bit too lagged to try and catch anything, let alone being too much of a wise-ass and laughing too much. Ghosty was having computer issues so he didn't take any either (as a matter of fact, his computer died completely this morning and we had to go out and buy a new tower for him :( ).

i only have this one, to show Chris how his glasses were looking on my viewer.

Some friends of mine have a couple hundred acres of oak trees in Central Ca. I took this picture in early spring when leaves were just starting to come back. Unfortunately all the large predator animals (other than humans) in the area have been killed so there are enough squirrels to eat every acorn and there won't be any new trees.

I had been having my modem freeze up alot lately so went and picked up a new one. Online installation refused to work so i spent 45 minutes on the phone talking to a computer and 30 minutes with a real person. Finally got it working. :)

that's more than interesting, that's bordering on great news.... well not so great since I get migraines, but hey, of the two that's what I'd pick... especially since I'm on hrt thanks to a hysterectomy for health reasons =/

Glad it's all better now love :)

Went to some gorgeous places again today -

The one with Damien is in The Big Easy- very nice build although terribly empty.
The one with Steely is in Bellagio and though I cannot recall the name of the build, it is a garden place that will give Straylight a run for its money! Besides sheer beauty, the sell the plants and trees and the prices were reasonable- I bought irises and some other exotic for a little landscaping at home.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

From Lindal's First Annual Lebettu Balloon Festival:

(big pic...)

yellow/blue/green balloon on left: Lindal Kidd (at least...I think this is Lindal's...Lindal??)

red/white/blue balloon: Tex Nasworthy

orange/yellow: Jerboa Haystack

gunmetal with the eagle emblem: ???

I wasn't able to get all the balloons in one place (surprise), but here's another shot...

And the lovely striped balloon in the this pic is piloted by Tweetie Birdbrain, from the Wind Riders balloon club
