Oh shit... thanks for reminding me.

Edit: Hey, I get a reprieve! Gov't offices are closed today, LOL. I'll call tomorrow and contest the ticket. (I was controlling my speed, Your Honor. It's not my fault the roads were wet...)

But they can't ticket the rain or the roads so.... and they were proly going at the posted speed limit ;)

Morning all...started my day with a bit of nitrous oxide to go with my coffee...wheeee!

The Garden of Lost Love is one day away from being "officially" open, but has had 3 visitors in the past 24 hours. I don't think it's appropriate to be pleased...but I am.

Ladies, are we all shopped out after last night? ;)

What happened last night?

I always miss these things (and I stayed up really really late muttering how bored I was and how nothing was going on, related: I also missed Madhu's party while bored in my corner wishing there was something to do) :(

(unless, of course, this was another internal discussion on the thread, like the flower clothing picture taking one)

((dang it, not only am I missing stuff that I should probably know about, like Madhu's party, I'm now missing at least 5 pages from this thread, judging from the quoted messages I see. sheesh. And to top it off, that transcript of the Lindal sex party got lost, and I can't get a new copy to download onto my computer. All I was able to read before it self-destructed was "Female Jerboa: Hi Claire.";))

Jer- don't slink away.. compose and delight us ... /me sits back with a glass of wine to enjoy the symphonies.

/me shakes his head sadly, ears drooping

Compose and delight? My talents lie in limericks, not symphonies. Simple doggerel can't compete.

How could I compare to a symphony?

The nervous anticipation as the conductor commands attention.

Then, quiet as a whisper, strings. An ephemeral melody light as a spring breeze brushes at the edge of your senses, tantalizing, beckoning, compelling your attention, sparking your curiosity with promises only hinted at, but certainly foreshadowing things to come.

Your attention is focused now, as the woodwinds add new textures, and reveal more of the story. Flutes, clarinets, and oboe mingle with strings entwining complex harmonies, reinforcing the evening's dominant theme but now exploring new possibilities, to surround you and sweep you along the currents of sensation.

The music swells, percussion demanding your heart to pound in your chest, coaxing the breath from you, leaving you light headed. But all too soon, a dimuendo, falling away to another gentle, almost playful aire, leaving you giddy but unsatisfied. Frustration...Confusion...Could this be the end?

No! Merely a gathering of strength. The brass, with their bright clear tones, and strong, steady purpose take command. Thought and doubt are banished. The music surrounds you, enfolds you, a single trumpet piercing it's core, driving to a final purpose.

The music changes, quickening, gentle still, but with a strength and focus that will not be denied. It presses from all sides, swelling and ebbing, demanding of you nothing and yet everything.

The timpani are frantic. Each beat vibrating to your core. Gentleness has given way to a driving passion. All effort toward a final, single purpose. Without warning, a final powerful crescendo. Wave after wave of cymbal and drum crash around you. A cacophany of sensation buffets you, as the music reaches it's peak, fulfilling then surpassing each quietly whispered promise.

Finally spent, having achieved it's aim, the music changes yet again. The fierce carnality of moments before fades away, leaving in it's wake a softness, so like the original but now filled with tenderness born from having shared itself with you. On a cloud, you are returned again to this reality, and enfolded in the music's gentle caress as it ever so slowly fades away.........

/me sighs
No, I'm just a simple little feller, content with brainless rhyming. I'll leave the symphonies the true artists.

/me crawls in and collapses.

Spent the day trekking around a wetlands nature reserve, studying geese. There is not a single part of me that doesn't hurt or isn't frozen.

Never. Again.

I'm heading for a nap. Back soon....

Brain Restriction is going out of business -- all clothing is marked down to L$5 and some of the jewelry, shoes, and boots also. It was a sale I found out about and notified folks in Group Chat - around 5:00 pm SLT.

Throughout history, governments have counted on the ignorance of the populace to keep them in power. If each and everyone of us were willing to accept responsibility for our selves, government would be unnecessary. Yes, I know, there I go advocating anarchy again :)
We'd all have to be pretty darn responsible to get roads built, water delivered, kids educated and firefighters dispatched without some sort of central organization.

Well, I've managed to refrain from commenting when the discussion turned to politics and religion.

However, when the subject of big butts got brought up I just had to reply.

She isn't going out of business, according to the conversation I had with her last night.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

/me asks does he have a brother and where do I find him. This fabulous, wonderful, gentle man must surely be taken. Heart strings have been tugged, never to be released again. /me lets out a long deep sigh as her mind swirls into the dreams of a kalidescope of never ending color. falls into a faint as the words "Jerboa, Jerboa" cross her lips.. her hand raises to touch the lips that faintly whispered his name as she fears that this is the closest she will ever be to him.

I was thinking that Ann has really neglected her pie duties after I saw Yosef serve one in the "Women behaving badly" thread.
