I can't help but wonder why doesn't anyone who list Mystitool use the MEAO plugin for Toritoys and instead uses standalone AOs? That's pretty much the only constant-on gadget I wear.

That came out in the new update, I think? Just never got around to reading about it...lol. If I can now add my AO to my Mysti (as long as the same functionality of the ZHAO-II is there) I'm in!

1. Mystitool
2. flying machines
3. Rideable chocobo (or any strange animal for that matter. i bought a gor one the other day. i really want to make a taun taun from star wars too, that'll be fun)
4. skits partz terraforming dozers (i find the inbuilt tools are the best. but these are great for things like paths up a mountain)
5. SLwim
6. Prim finder (this does not get as much use as it used to but still comes in handy from time to time)
7. submarines
8. fluffy slippers
9. ZHAO II (i really need to connect it to my mystitools)
10. honestly, number 10, last but definatly not least, are the inbuilt tools for building and terraforming, without them i would have left secondlife a long time ago.

...9. ZHAO II (i really need to connect it to my mystitools)...

What do you mean by that? Just link the prims so they will share a HUD attach point? Or is some sort of integration possible?

I posted a link above - there's an ZHAOII-based MystiTool plugin. Really... :)

That freebie thing sounds interesting, Min. Where did you get that please? :)

I have no clue what a Be-Bar is either, but the only time I've seen it is as an add on to a very well known *bits* designer.

I don't know what a Be-bar is but first thing sounds like a anti-ruth device I got one that looks like metal barrel haven't used it but have been known to use others.
Im me Czari if you want me to send you one in world when I make it back in world I will send it.

Cuz I had never heard of it? :)

Does the MEAO plugin for Toritoys also have add-on rooms the way Mystitool does?

Me either, and it's doubtful that I'm going to stop using my HUDDLES, but here's the XStreet listing:

Ok, I'm seeing a lot of questions about AOs and MystiTool and this MEAO thing and what are they all. I'll try to explain. =)

MEAO is an extended version of the ZHAO-II scripts that go inside the MystiTool HUD. You drop your old ZHAO-II notecard and animations into your MystiTool, but use the MEAO scripts instead of the ones that came with your standalone AO. There are converters for old ZHAO and Vista notecards, Franimation users get to do some typing :p You can set up MystiTool custom buttons to act like the ZHAO-II equivalents, but the blue menus have been extended so you don't have to use extra HUD buttons unless you want to. Chat commands are also there for all the functions if you prefer to use MystiTool that way, those commands also lets you set a MystiTool custom button for any AO function you want.

It's free, left-click the vendor at http://slurl.com/secondlife/Hanson/211/87/104 to get it. Also on SLX or Xstreet or whatever it is now if you like to get stuff that way, http://www.xstreetsl.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&file=item&ItemID=626590

Ack! I've been away from the forums for a day or so and missed this post, FD. Yes, would love to have the anti-ruth device, please :)

I like the home security system that shoots homing missiles at you. :) Blows you right off the parcel. I don't have its name though. I never can get close enough to the launcher to get it's name.

Mystitool has a non-physical feature.

I purchased the MEAO plug in (0L) on XStreet, but asked my Partner about it first before tinkering with it. He's a professional computer geek and very savvy on the Mysti. He said he'd looked into similar products before as well as this one and the only downside is that when the Mystitool does an update, all the animations would have to be manually re-added (or something to that effect). He opts not to go with it for that reason and as, in his words, "he is not lacking in screen real estate."

OTOH, I'm still using a CRT monitor, which is one reason I'm still running an ancient viewer with the Nicholaz overlay - the newer viewers use up too much screen space compared to the older one. (That and I'm a curmudgeoness who doesn't like to change once I get something I like :p)

So, I may still give it a try since often I don't do the Mysti updates until the constant reminders every time I log on bug me enough to do so.

Good to know something like that is out there though :)

I love my mysti tool and my quantum core though I must admit i don't use all the features on both of them just a select few.

I've picked up a few nice gadgets from slx lately, free ones but cool colour pickers (give the colours numbers for lsl code) and one called SALT which searches a database of megaprims for the size you want, saves storing them yourself.

Yep, that's the weakest link in doing any sort of MystiTool add-on, upgrades aren't in-place and the little storage barrel mechanism is closed. It's possible to do separate update objects, but those end up making the process no simpler :(

it's not just the phys, the fact is, when those things hit your avatar, phys or not, the ammount of particles that comes from the explosion pretty much blocks your viewer from seeing anything (i'v done some testing)

but in saying all that... i didn't even think to turn particles off when i tested it. there's always a way around stufff in SL

to understand Spanish?
11-02-2008 04:11
I am sure someone here can help me with this... :)

At some point of the game I was able to understand French - in other words, I had some kind of HUD (the french guy gave it to me) and after that all text written were automatically translated from French to English and vice versa.

Now I have a Spanish friend and this kind of tool would be very useful. Where can I get it or activate it?

Thank you for your help!

Vergi.
