A long time ago, a friend who worked as a waitress was often late for work, because every time she put her uniform on, her boyfriend would go bananas.

@ Key- when u have your outfit assembled just how you want it, go into appearance and look for the Create Outfit or such- then there is a window that lets you choose what attachments to include. If the item- clothing or other attachment, is copyable, then a copy will go into a separate folder that you name, i.e. Red Outfit. It will contain everything u were wearing that you chose to include- hair, HUDs, AO- whatever. Then when you need a quick change- there you go. Only problem is if it is not copyable and you do it it moves there then u will have to remember where those favorite boots went!

I actually think that even women are quite obsessed with them in a way -- have you ever talked to a friend about her feelings surrounding a mastectomy due to breast cancer? We may be obsessed about our breasts in a different way than men, but they seem to define our womanhood in a similar way that a penis defines a man.

I have heard this before and I'm sorry but I have to disagree. They were invented for good reason and before the modern bra there were always other means of support from simple wraps to the bodice. Why? Because it hurts without support! I had a friend that used to tease me about what called my nazi bras and because I wear a sports bra to sleep in. I made him hold them up one time when I was walking on the treadmill at home. He didn't make it 10 minutes. I carry them for my entire life. So forgive me if I want my bras.

It's hard enough to keep up with dresses and shoes, let alone bras.

I don't know about the designer friend of the person who started this thread, but, for bras and panties sold as separates I bought them at "owl and pussycat" - Sara Larsen was the designer.

I think these names are correct - I am away from home and not with the computer that has the SL viewer so I can't check. But searching should find it.

They have some very nice lingerie sold as separate bras, panties, etc.

h looks like what I am wearing right now in RL (just got dressed after opening gifts and having breakfast.

b looks like one I often wear in RL. I notice that most of those bras are low-perhaps plunge bras. I could use some of those in SL for when I wear things like v-neck sweaters and some blouses that show parts of some bras I have.

I actually have about a half dozen bras that I bought separately. A few half bras, a corset bra or two, and a few others. There are quite a few places that sell them separately.

Now, THAT would have been worth a picture.

Rarely wear bras, since they show with a lot of the tops I wear, but I do wear knickers, and I love stockings, especially with suspenders/garters...whatever you wanna call em.

I have few females friends who really into wearing very little, they look good for some avatars if they like that certain vamp look.
Nothing like having that look during a combat, roleplaying a Amazon Warrioress or practicing martial art look that especially involves battling the inventory asset or lag beast that attack SL, wearing heavy weaponry, certain poses, using a bull whip, while wearing arm protection and leather or metallic looking bra, with g-string and thigh high combat boots whether dancing, hanging out, in combat or just wandering around in virtual combat mode against lag while shopping.
This is one I made, it's not sale though for obvious reasons shown.

I wear them in SL there are some gorgeous ones. After an evening out, my partner and I return home and I often dance in my lingere with garter, stockings and heels. He really enjoys this while using slow dance 8 and 9.
