Bras?

I am just curious. I was talking to a person who designed and sold lingerie, and she commented that sales of bras were much lower than sales of dresses, shirts, and other outerwear.

Just thinking about it. How many women on SL wear bras under there other clothes? I am not asking about things worn on the undershirt layer that appear to others, but bras worn under their clothes like in RL.

Same goes for panties (but not glitch pants or other things that may appear to others)>

I rarely wear bras. There's no need to unless I'm showing them off, which isn't really my style. Why wear something that no one can see? RL it's helpful, but with anti-gravity bewbs and smooth bewbs there's no reason for them.

I wear underwear. Once a newbie learns how to maneuver the camera, you'd better at least be wearing panties under your skirt. It's amazing how many will confess to the peeping by voicing their disappointment in open chat, too.

I hate bras. I rarely wear one in rl. The Brassiere invented by a man! And no my avi doesn't wear a bra.

If the outfit layering permits it, I wear underwear.

It's a gravtiy defying device, as you get older you might appreciate it.

I dress my avatar pretty much like I do in RL, which includes bras and panties.

I have several matching lacy sets in SL which I LOVE! (Actually think they were freebies I got early on.)

It adds more "realism" to when I'm slowly slipping out of my evening wear after a night of dancing and have the lacy underwear still on. My partner seems to enjoy it as well.

I assume that I wear underwear in SL the same as in RL most of the time, but that doesn't mean I actually 'wear' it in the technical sense unless it would be visible as there's no point. I just assume it's there and hope everyone else does. However I assume I don't always wear a bra and occasionally go without without knickers too if I'm wearing a short skirt LOL. Clear as mud or are you confused? Most of my underwear is plain and simple, I'm not into frilly lace.

The SL bra has no functional use.

It's hard enough for me to decide what to wear, that I don't need to spend extra time on layers of clothing residents would rarely see.

(I do not dress as the subject of the Jeff Foxworthy joke: If you wear a dress that's strapless, with a bra that isn't, you might be a redneck.)

I only wear panties with a skirt, for the same reasons.

If I do have that intimate moment that would require a bra, I can actually put my bra on before taking off my top. My partner is none the wiser.

Since I do not like buying things I will rarely use, I have saved a bit of money by not over-buying underwear and lingerie. No one can tell if I wore the same underwear today as I did yesterday.

And my inventory is not needlessly filled.

I don't wear lingerie under my clothes in SL unless you count glitch pants. However, lingerie does sell very well. I'm always getting requests to make more. It could just be that many of my customers like to take vintage pin-up pics of themselves though.

I dont wear a bra. I dont wear any undies at all. It's a pointless exercise. In the best sense of teh word I am a cartoon. I dont normally wear any clothes in sl unless I travel off my land (rarer and rarer these days). I wear tattoos. Also when I Neko-ize I am only Neko skin - no clothes at all.
To be honest I dont wear bras in real all teh time. Tee shirt and jeans. Nice shirt. Boots. Sweater. Socks. If I go out for teh highlife I wear something sweet.
Same in sl. My partner is not into dancing etc. so we dont go many places.

Also, while I'm bored at work I must admit that I find bras and panties quite useless. I mean they are made for comfort. If you were going to dress sexy there are plenty of outfits available in SL. Of course, I'm not into the pixel sex stuff so no one sees me naked anyways.

I wear panties if I have on a dress/skirt that uses a system skirt under it with no glitch pants - I have a few.

Otherwise, I only put on bra and panties if I expect to be undressing for someone.

i love to wear lingerie, and will most of the time...just because I can and it pleases me...my partner also enjoys it when i undress...(no hunting through a 45,000 inventory for a bra for this girly to hunt it when im getting in the mood)

Also love to see the edge of a beautiful bra peeping out from between the lapels of a well cut jacket- think last call suit...no camisole or shirt under the jacket..but the edges of a lace bra...i like that

I wear bras in SL. You won't see them, but if I am wearing a thin blouse or cami top you may see the outline if the bra is a dark color.

In real life I am a clothes horse. In other words, I love clothes and have a very full closet. I have a number of bras and panties that I like to wear. No one sees them, except my hubby, and he is often eating or in the shower when I get dressed. But I have bras that are low cut for when I am wearing a low neck line outfit, such as a v-neck sweater or a summer dress, and, of course, strapless bras. I also have bras that are more comfortable but can't be worn with certain other clothes. And, for each style I have different colors because many clothes are slightly transparent and dark colors will show through light fabrics.

My avatar in SL is the same. I have a large collection of lingerie, suits, sweaters, and other clothes. While I don't have to worry about comfort or sagging boobs, the other criteria apply.

Plus, it is just fun to collect and wear pretty, frilly, lacy underwear.

I only wear a bra when I am in the combat sim.. it's a very nice bra, able to shoot 5000 rounds a second. They usually get upset when I wear it though, since the sim doesn't last long when I am wearing it..

depends on the outfit... generally if it isn't seen(or going to be), why bother? it's not like it'll keep my virtual boobs from sagging. this would be why I have very few sets of underwear compared to the rest of my wardrobe in SL
