Sansa and Arya are sisters in George R.R. Martin's fantasy book series, A Song of Ice and Fire. They are complete opposites, so I figured combining them would be fun and connote dualism...or something

I dunno why I chose Caligari, but it had nothing to do with film noir or 3D web software companies.

I'll try and start a thread. I was just reading the thread about anonymity/disclosure and it occurred to me that our first names here must have some significance. Anyone care to share the reasons for their choice of name?
Mine is pretty obvious but some are very ethereal and interesting.

Both of mine do.

Okiphia is from Everquest 2, and I was Okiphia there since i started. I was on the Unrest server, and quickly grew in power and recognition.. My guild was the first EQ2 GLBT community guild, and as far as I know it is still going.

There is now a new Okiphia there.. I don't know her.. but I hear she is a DE Wizard as well... interesting..

Kaddaj is my second. Kaddaj was my very first character in Everquest. I loved him.. and he was married to awonderful girl.. I've lost contact to her... but I wish I hadn't..she was awesome.

Pfff... meaning of names... my first name is a nick I have used since ummm... 1997 and I've grown quite fond of it. Hardly anyone knows how to pronounce it though. It is derived - obviously - from the Aeneid.

My last name is just coincidental. I like it, it sounds nice, and it happens to be a place in France I visited a couple of years ago (and I have fond memories of that as well =^.^= )

I used a name from COH of a Superhero called
THE TEGG!

Mine has ^^

Jocgart has been my nick for years now, before SL I mean.

Joc, in catalonian, means game. Also, I am J.C. 'sth' in RL, JoCgart. Appart of that I am fan of Harry Potter books, there's a creature in the books called 'boggart', it's a mythical creature too in RL. There's Humphrey Bogart too. I was looking for some name sounding as that but "customed", so I got Jocgart ^^

There are more reasons too, but too long to explain

My original account ended up being the exact name of a local medical doctor. I was surprised when I noticed.

I picked Sonia becaus it started with the same first letter of my real-life name. I have two alts that have variations of my real-life name, but both alts are gone now. Lexxi sounded like a robotic name back when I was more of a Gynoid than I am now. I have been called Lex, and Lexi.

I train in jujutsu in real life, and named myself after Royce (pronounced Hoyce) Gracie the MMA fighter. Plus, Royce can be a girls name too. The last name works also if you know anything about Royce Gracie.

I picked Xio "out of a hat" Because I wanted a real short name that was super fast for people to type, and I wanted an unusual name. I thought I made it up, but apparently it's a real name. I would have had a 2-letter name, but Sign Up made me pick at least 3 characters
