I used to have the false belief that LL would shut this forum down if it got out of control. So, out of a desire to protect the forum, I would play moderator.
I got over it. If they shut it down, they shut it down. I now control my own environment and user experience here with an Ignore list. The covert, uncommunicative way they moderate this forum these days still sucks though. _____________________

FWIW, there was a time I took seriously the various complaints about a superabundance of silly posts and about a domineering in-crowd.
