You know, despite the focus on "over emotional" women, the REAL problem, I've decided, is penis waving. There is WAY too much penis waving going on here, and in the undying thread. She had a question about something in SL and she wanted an answer so she started a thread asking about it in Resident Answers. That is wrong exactly how? Whether she "should" have asked Chris directly by IM instead is a matter of opinion. Mine is, It's a free country (that LL is located in) and if you don't like her threads you don't have to read them. If you don't like Jig you can block even seeing any of her posts. If your objection is she's airing Forum Cartel issues in a public place, well that has some merit - except that the root of the issue seems to be a nasty public spat in the unending thread (which I didn't read and am not going to). I'll give her a pass on asking about it in the same public forum, thereby encouraging a discussion about it in a place where it's easier to follow than in group chat or via IM. If you won't, well, don't read her threads. Personally, I rather like many of Jig's threads - the ones that lighten things up a bit on RA and the ones that provoke fruitful discussion. Some of them annoy me - but so what? I can always just stop reading them, and sometimes do. I used to be neutral about Jig herself - interesting, nonmalicious, though a bit tooself-referential for my taste. Having read through this thread, I've changed my mind. I LIKE Jig after reading through all this. She comes off a lot classier than some of the people taking it on themselves to play Forum Police and to attack her. Carry on Jig! If more people were like you in these forums they would be a better, more interesting place - even if there would be more threads I would personally skip. |
