Now, take one of the other poster's comments up top as an example--if one of your friends came in and read what you just wrote...don't you think even they might think that you're being a jerk? Well you know what, they'd be right.

This is where you go wrong, Michael. You cannot actually believe that anyone can have a valid opinion that runs contrary to your own. The world revolves around you and your opinions. You seem to take all opposition to your rather odd ideas personally.
Strangely enough, I have different opinions.

Michael, you are the biggest "victim" in this Forum. Quite possibly the biggest of all drama queens here. If someone doesn't agree with you, it's personal. HAS to be. Or they're a hypocrite. Or some other excuse.

Sometimes there is no right and wrong, just a different point of view that you hadn't considered. But it's all about you, so people must be making you out to be some kind of bad guy when they don't follow your reasoning lock-step, or add a nuance that you hadn't acknowledged in print.

Live and let live, Michael. And get over yourself. Really. You are a smart guy and your opinions are well thought out. But yours aren't the only opinions out there, and every discussion doesn't have to end up with you feeling like you're being vilified. It's getting old, and fast.

Michael, I don't think you're a bad guy, you've just never (that I recall) had a major opinion I agreed with...and I do get annoyed when you start throwing out this, "They only have one mind between them and they're out to get me!" rhetoric. My opinions are my own. *shrug*

And this was from a guy who said in this thread "We all are judgmental at times--we would be hypocrites to say otherwise." and in his inworld profile says: "Michael is an easy-going, non-judgemental (sic) citizen" One thinks it he were truly willing to admit his hypocrisy he wouldn't have that in his profile...

I've always found that when someone feels a need to make the point that they are non-judgmental the only one they are fooling is themselves. (but then what do I know? I'm condescending, rude, and patronizing.)

What I find interesting, is that many of the people I 'argue' with can be real jerks also...but you NEVER EVER see anyone calling THEM out. That is the very definition of 'clique' which 'you' all so aptly denied exists here.
