This is what the majority of the people answering this poll think it is. Less than 18% is a majority? WTF? Notwithstanding that the statistical value of these forum polls are insignificant, this is far from a majority. Its not even the most selected answer, and no answer has a majority. This seems to indicate what I've suspected for a while... Prok is making these polls purely to shore up his own opinions, pointing at the results as if they prove his assertions. All these polls prove is that a small percentage of forum readers will respond to polls, and that is all. The results are statistically meaningless. For a poll to actually have any relevant result, it must be a scientific poll with a large random sample of participants that provide a cross section of the entire population. _____________________

Well, I made the poll, not Prok. Scientific? Did you not see the last option? D'oh, I was half asleep when I posted that. Still... it doesn't change my basic thesis that Prok uses poll results to bolster his opinions despite no scientific validity to the whole thing. And really... if he can claim that under 18% is a majority, I can certainly claim he created a poll. _____________________

Snakekiss, This is what the majority of the people answering this poll think it is. The technologically proficient, the high-end scripters, the content-barons, the uber-architectects, the kewl designers, the exclusive kewl kids, who lurch between providing all kinds of stuff for free to themselves and their huggy bearz friends and charging enormous amounts for things like skins and animations and houses. They're the elite. They aren't an evil conspiracy. But they do bad things sometimes, and have relative impunity, meaning they can verbally harass, stalk, reveal RL information, blackball, slander, shun, etc. and no one will stop them. They rule the game...for now...but their era is coming to an end, and that's why they've become more fierce. This kind of excited me. After reading it, I couldn't decide whether to masturbate or start making picket signs.... _____________________
