We're being tricked - for all we know, the girls are shocked for exactly the opposite reason. Noone, except those three know the truth. Well one thing's for sure, it's not on the ground.... Unless it was on the ground and it shriveled up....looked pretty cold in that pic. So we still don't know the truth...damn snow! _____________________

Oh, now this is nice. And you wonder, Ingrid, why I get the idea that maybe new players aren't just real welcome? It's because I run across something like this every five minutes. There I was, reading along, "base core, " "bulk core," wondering what I would be, and guess what, we get to be the bitching core. Resentful and suspicious. This age thing is really crap, you know. It was crap in TSO and it is crap here. Crap, crap,crap. As if it makes the older player smarter or better, though in the case of SL, it does seem to make them more smart-ass, cause that's the skill that seems to be honed most carefully here. The only difference between me and the person who wrote this is he/she had DSL or cable and I didn't. Otherwise I would have been on when he/she was and I sure wouldn't be treating new players like this. I'd be treating them like I did in TSO. Like I have said before, I like to play a game that is popular and growing, and one way to assure that - especially in a game as buggy and laggy and hard to log-on as this one - is to welcome new players. Not call them bitchy. And no, it's not funny, and it's not good PR. Makes me wanna say, well, you know, screw you too. And you can ask anybody who knows me - I'm not the type who says screw you very often, but reading these forums sure does bring out the basest part of me. coco |

It's not any fun being lumped into a negative general category. But, it was just a tongue-in-cheek comment.
