From: Alvin Newcomb Dropping bombs to take out infrastructure and soldiers when the soldiers are using the infrastructure to attack you, even when you know that innocent people will die, that is bad.
Blowing up a bomb with the express purpose of killing innocent people is despicable. So what you're saying is that there's only bad and worse over there. THAT's one sentiment I'll agree with.

From: Billybob Goodliffe lets face it, both sides have fucked up. They are too proud to back down now and fix the initial problem. Scarily, I find myself 100% in agreement with you here Billybob.

Jellin, Ulirika has a valid point in post #85 though she didn't really need to stick the little barb on the end of it. Peace in the middle east can only come about in one of two ways: one side totally exterminating the other or reconciliation. Seeing how the first option is unlikely, that leaves the second option. And reconciliation cuts both ways. Each side has to reach out to the other in order to make it work. Two things that would speed up the process would be for the US gov't to switch off its subsidy tap to Israel and for all nations to stop buying oil from gulf state / middle-east nations until the situation is resolved. Sadly, I doubt neither will ever happen.
