I'm listening to the guy next to me whine about impossible deadlines. The girl across the desk whine about her holiday. The shrill manager across the other side of the office whining about, well, everything. And the air conditioning whining.

And now I'm whining to you about it! :D

My air conditioner blowing cool air into the room. An intermittant drip of the kitchen faucet. And, my fingers on the keyboard. I guess I should turn on some music.

You need to blast out DIE MOFO'S DIEEEEEEE in your office.

My boss wasn't overly impressed when MSI's Faggot blared out.

When the I've been denied all the best ultra sex line came on, he said I should do something about it.

hah. Everyone turns and gives you evol stares if you so much as leave your mobile phone off silent. It's worse than working in a friggin library. The aircon is definitely the loudest thing in the office most of the time. Sometimes you're actually relieved to hear the fax machine just to reassure yourself that you hadn't gone deaf in the last few hours.

HAHAHA!

I work IN a Library, well in an office IN a library :)

I have just been moved to a temporary office situated in the Conference room, the silence is DEAFENING!!!

I don't like it :(

Silence is NOT golden.

At this very moment I'm listening to a chap on the tv who helps people sell their antiques, for which they generally get peanuts and spend them on paltry holidays. "This was my granny's favourite mantel clock". She probably slaved down the mine for 90 years to buy that.

As for music .. "Celtic Mystique" - an ambient music sort of CD bought at a local garden centre.

Luscious Jackson - Naked Eye

Over and over while I was sitting in traffic this morning on my way to work. The rest of the cd sort of blows though.
