That brings up another subject. How can Jughead eat so much, yet stay so rail thin? I mean, he's never shown to be a jock, so it's not like he seems to get a lot of exercise. Where does he get such a high metabolism?

I can answer that one, genetics. I knew a guy in the navy who was built like a greek statue, he was cut, ripped even with a 6 pack set of abs. He was, however, unable to lift his own bodwieght nor could he run more than a quarter mile without falling out since he never excersised. The bastard could eat 10 times more than I could and was skinny as a rail.

As far as Archie is concerned, he was manuvering those two for a three way.. trust me on this.

*sends Kathmandu to Liona for a spanking*

This thread is ask jake anything, meaning I get to answer. I am the only Feted inner Jake on this thread, so if you want to answer, even if they are good answers (you are right abot the three way!), do it in PM or make an "Ask Kathmandu anything" Thread.

Now go to your room! LoL

Jugg head is a comic book character, they naturally have a higher and more efficient metabolism than our own. So if you really want to lose weight...become an Archie character.

Sorry Jake, I couldn't resist.. Your answer is correct as always.

But you know I'm right about the three way... I have the unedited version. :) Go Archie!

Kathmandu wanders off to his room where his computer and tv is, the punishment so fitting the crime...

Dear Jake,

My question is, what is the best way to dispose of a body?

Sincerely,

To be enlightened is to be free. Let go the rail and fly. Freedom is a choice, it is neither given nor taken.

Dear Jake

I took your advice and let go of the rail and attempted to fly. I'm now suffering shattered legs and several other broken bones along with numerous other injuries.

I don't feel very enlightened. Do you know a good lawyer?

Dear Jake;

Is iced tea in resturants bad for you? I have often found the iced tea in restuarnts to have an off taste to it that has become pretty frequent in the last few years. So much so that I only order sodas nowdays. I read once that black tea (what you normally find iced tea made with like Liptons) is the tea leaves are picked and allowed to air dry in sheds. They are never washed so what ever bird droppings that happen to be on the leaves stay on the leaves. This isn't normally a problem because the normal way to make tea is to boil the water then put in the tea which kills the little wiggly things and give that Lipton's guy with the mustach that smug, self satisfied look. From what I've seen though, the tea in resturants is made in sort of a coffee brewer thing and I'm thinking theses things don't get hot enough to kill the bacteria. You think I might be on to something?

It helps if you plug it in.

But seriously (almost), computers are so cheap now, they are desing ed to fail so that they can be3 replaced. Witha desk top seeling for 700 bucks, computer peope figure you need to buy 4 of them in two years. Or you can buy one wide screen lap top. Anyway you cut it. computers are supposed to cost you $1500 a year.

As it happens I do.

But really I neve sasid enlightenment came without pain. I suspect you learned a lesson in your falling. Find the lesson and you will be one step closer.

There was a zen master who, when asked what is the meaning of zen, would hold up 1 finger. One day he asked his class what is the meaning of zen. A student, thinking to impress his maaster, held up one finger. The master went over and cut the students finger off. At that moment the student was enlightened.

As one who drinks only iced tea in restaraunts, I can promise that I have never had a bacterial infection as a result of it. I should imagine the tannic acid in tea is fatal to most bacteia. I also understand that the water temperature in a coffee maker is sufficient to kill bacteria. I think the off taste in tea may be the result of the water. Or people using poor quality tea.

Besides bacteria need love too.

I doubt they will ever have these things. best to change lunch venues. And today Make it a chicken ceasar salad, and try dipping your bread in a mixture of balsamic vinegar and olive oil.

Is it bad to find amusement in the physical pain of others as a result of their own momentary stupidity or bad luck? (i.e., someone lighting themselves on fire by using too much starter fluid in a charcoal grill)

It is human to laugh at the foibles of others. However, it is better to have compassion without judgment. Saying somone lit themselves on fire out of momentary stupidity is to judge them as lesser beings, when we have all had moment of stupidity. It is far better to have compasisonfor the pain the bring on themselves and for the circustances that surround their original neglect.

Between kidness and judgement, take the course of kindness. Between compassion and ridicule, take the course of compassion.

Jake! Hi!

Can you tell me, is my mother going to kill me when she comes home and realises that I have dyed her bathroom carpet and all accessories a nice shade of blue?

Thanking you!

It depends, Miss Zander, on whether or not your mother likes blue.

I think she will not kill you. But you may have dissappointed her, and made her question how she could have such a racous child.

I have to go with buried treasure. Its a hugely elaborate protective scheme,a nd must protect soemthing. But even now noone has had the financial backing or gumption to go in an solve the mystery. Some day someone with a few million to spend will sort the mess out.

Why is it that drinking something cold too quickly will cause the most unbearable pain for about 5 minutes?
