Not one of our boys captured has EVER been released. We do EVERYTHING in our power for these farking scum of the earth monsters, we feed their sorry asses, give them hot showers, hell... we even give them a copy of their Koran to study... to reinforce and justify their hatred of us and give them hope. What do we EVER get from them? TORTURED TO FUCKING DEATH is what we get. I don't think I EVER want to hear any crap about Gitmo or Abu Grab again.

If you want to become like the terrorists, then continue with this mentality. If you want to start torturing people to feel better, you are no different than those who took the lives of these soldiers.

This might sound harsh Billybob, but this is a war. These things happen. Anyone who supports the war needs to understand that they are supporting putting our troops in danger of being killed.

This is what the REAL meaning of "Freedom isn't free" means. Soldiers kill, and soldiers die, and they do it out of duty. It is the price they pay that ensures you can sit in your airconditioned home preaching why they should be there getting shot at.

Am I outraged? Am I angered? No. I am saddened. I am sad because human beings suffered at the hands of cruelty without mercy.

Though... I am disgusted that people who call themselves Americans would consider looking the other way so we can torture others. That is no different than the mentality that caused the torture of those soldiers.

If people want to sit around and think of ways to "torture back", then perhaps they need to grab a gun and kill a baby in Iraq to feel better. Some of our soldiers are doing that.

There is a slight difference between the two scenarios.

The US ostensibly has principles and the power to make its soldiers adhere to them. The US does not have the - in principle - ability to control the acts of non-US personnel. Then again, I may be thinking of US-Classic instead of US-New-and-Autocratic.

Another thing... did it ever occur to you that this was in response to the torture we've been subjecting our prisoners to?? Or the civilians... INCLUDING CHILDREN... that have been murdered at the hands of our soldiers?

Gee, do you think maybe some people in Iraq are outraged and angry about the 30,000 + innocents we've killed and over two million people we've displaced from their homes? Do you honestly think that? Do you even pay attention to the war in Iraq?? The people we are fighting ARE Iraqi's. It's actually a rather small percentage of foreign fighters involved.

In case you hadn't noticed, we ARE outraged. We are outraged at our president and the administration. We are outraged that he sent our men and women into a war. We are outraged that our government isn't behaving any better than the insurgents when it comes to prisoners. We are saddened at EVERY SINGLE DEATH caused by this war. Just because we don't say OMFG to every little thing YOU think we should, does not mean we are not outraged.
