I'd like to note that at present time, there's nothing on my plot (next to kendra's) and that when I do something there (RL intervened but I have ideas) it will likely be low prim.

*cough*

and will not be high-altitude.

*hugs* :D

I've been thinking of some ideas for “unauthorized” stuff of my own actually. Most likely it would be an object I wear that generates particles and temp on rez objects that move around. That way it doesn't use anyone's prims and it doesn't leave trash laying around. (and if i see that it's overly lagging the sim I can simply take it off.)

It's supposed to be about the art. It's supposed to be a celebration of life. So what do you say we all stop bickering and get on with celebrating? :)

Animals eat animals. I eat animals. Some animals would eat me.

Some animals eat plants. I eat those animals too. Those animals won't eat me. I feel safe around them.

Mutual Omaha's Wild Kingdom taught me this.

I actually think it's funny that Lupus thinks I'm a vegetarian.

Nothing makes me happier than a big juicy Porterhouse steak. (medium rare)

Spinach Tofu Quiche
Serves: 19 Servings

Ingredients:
1 Whole wheat pie crust
1 lb Firm tofu; crumbled
1/4 c Brown rice vinegar
1 ts Onion powder
1 ts Fine sea salt
1/2 ts Dry mustard
1 tb Olive oil
1 med Onion; finely chopped
1 Garlic clove; minced
2 c Mushrooms; thinly sliced
1 tb Tamari
1 lb Spinach; well washed, stems
-removed and leaves cut
-small
1/4 c Fresh basil leaves, tightly
-packed; finely chopped
1 lg Tomato; sliced

Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Prick holes in the pie crust dough all over the bottom and sides of the
pie shell. Bake until a light golden color, 20 to 25 minutes. Let cool.

Put the tofu, rice vinegar, onion powder salt and mustard in a blender and
blend until smooth. Transfer to a large bowl.

Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.
Add the onion, garlic, mushrooms, and tamari and cook until the mushrooms
are browned, about 6 minutes. Add the spinach, cover and cook until the
spinach is wilted, 2 to 3 minutes. Uncover and cook, stirring often, until
the excess moisture has evaporated, about 3 minutes. Add to the tofu
mixture, along with the basil, and stir to mix.

Pour into the baked pie crust. Arrange the tomato slices, overlapping in a
circle, on top. Bake until the top is lightly browned and the filling seems
firm in the center, 40 to 50 minutes. Let cool 15 minutes.
Serve warm or at room temperature.

But I'll substitute veal for tofu.

Ahh, if only all blood-thirsty, murdering flesh renders could be as funny as you.

Seriously, that's like the fourth time today you've made me laugh. :)

Even from being a casual reader of the forums, and occasional poster, i knew the U/U sisters were one person, what amazes (ok irks) me is that both avs were awarded land in the festival. I guess recently i have been really down on SL, and was looking for a positive outlet here. The Burning Life festival seemed like just the thing to get involved in, and was so excited hoping to be picked. But i am an adult and can take dissapointment, i guess the thing that bothers me is, if U/U sisters both got picked, and everyone knew one was an alt, then how many more are in the contest that are the same person..just saying, geez SL try and stay on top of things more, you have the records, you know whos an alt of who, now something that could have been a postive outlet for everyone is now ruined and tainted. Im pretty sure i wont attend this year, just leaves a real bad taste in my mouth, sorry... but thats how im seeing this whole situation

( and U/U sisters, am not mad at you, i thought it was pretty funny when you entered both back to back, and im sure you were shocked that SL didnt catch on...man i was)

Be serious, despite how special someone thinks they are....LL can't and doesn't know everyone's alt's.
Even when they are blatently drawn out for all to see.
WE know because we read the forums everyday.
LL can't possibly know all of Ulrika's alts...they really don't care enough to pay attention.

I know. Regardless of how special people think they are, LL can't and doesn't know everyone's alt. This is surprising to a lot of folks, as in other virtual worlds the parent company often finds it easier to identify the alts of people who think they are special. But here in SL, regardless of how special people think they are, LL can't and doesn't know their alts. Even when they're drawn out for everyone to see.
