I really enjoy how people will come snipe something that solves a legitimate problem simply because they are infatuated with (or are actively perpetuating) the same problem.

In any case, Bravo, Flip, for taking a stab at fixing this. I've never, ever perused the event list, except for amusement value, simply because it is clogged with garbage. I'll be curious what gems I may find on this directory of yours.

Someone was sniping? See my additional discussion with Flipper in the thread, "Stop the Tringo," Enabran.

Yeah.

We have things in place for looking for events, you want to see only classes then use the drop down that is available. There are lots of things to offer in Sl and what may not appeal to one person may be what another is looking for. That is why you can use the drop down or key word search.

I guess though some would rather complain about the small issues in SL than some of the real concerns like performance and so forth.

Am I going to have to pull a Siggy on you?

No, I believe you call it correcting. What would we do without Coco to correct matters of opinion  ?

Woo! Flip this sounds great. I stopped going to events so long ago, I feel like a homebody in SL lol. I just got tired of seeing nothing but OMGZ MONEH AND TEH HAWTZ SEX! (yes I'm exaggerating) and I gave up. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens with this :D.

I don't know, Nolan. I have no idea what you are talking about here. But it reminds me of that other thread Aimee posted, about enemies. I don't know what your problem is, but I will say - it is your problem.

I know Coco, and I am trying to learn from your wisdom.

I can only hope.

Someday, maybe I will be able to a blind eye to my friends calling people fucktards and conniving bitches, while exhorting that my spouse would beat people up for calling me a hypocrite.

I just can't wait.

Flip, thanks from all of us who haven't even looked at the events list in months because it is just so...so.... unappetizing and too hard to find anything cultural and/or intellectually appealing.

Bravo. Five stars. Two thumbs up.

I wiish you well with project Flip.

A "landowner/hosted by" filter might improve the normal inworld events list - so you'd only see events if they were on land owned by a personal list of approved landowners or hosted by a personal list of approved hosts.

And I *AM* still puzzled about Coco's comment about one of my posts.

There's our girl! No real defense for that hypocrisy, eh? So it's play the victim time. Well la-di-da. One wonders what would happen if someone talked to you the way your "brilliant" friend talks to people. Would your husband shoot them instead of just beating them up? Beating people up for words, such a good Christian thing to do.

Good job Flip! LL refuses to police the events list (which is probably why we lost event support in the first place), so it's great to see an alternative which actually enforces event posting guidelines.

That is just MESSED UP, Nolan! Now when I saw that we were getting nowhere with our relationship in the game, and I asked you to leave me alone there, you did, and I appreciated that. I would like it if you similarly cut me some slack on the forums. I would appreciate that.

Oh, so now Mrs. Honesty is going to lie in public. Wonderful. You never said any such thing to me. In fact, I pre-emptively muted you in world, after our last exchange in which you gave me reams of unsolicted RL info about yourself as if that makes your words somehow unimpeachable.

You don't like what I have to say, mute me. And quit lying.

Way to derail a thread with your personal issues. WTF does this have to do with the topic?

Perhaps you could start a "I can say what I want, but you can't" thread.

Way to blame me for other people derailing it by attacking me. It's interesting you mention this, because I was just thinking, what the HECK does anything Nolan said have to do with this thread?

Enebran talked about sniping; I directed him to the other thread where he could see that I am not, in fact, having any kind of altercation with Flipper, just disagreeing with his interpretation of some things. Then comes Nolan.

I invite everyone to look at the other thread, "Down with Tringo," for a greater understanding of exactly what I was communicating to Flipper about.

coco

In fact, I invite anyone with any shred of rationality to go back and read this thread from the start.

rofl, Piccadilly!

But no, we were in no way a couple of any kind - sorry if I gave that impression. We just had a rather nice friendship going, is all.
