I don't think there's anything wrong with two (or more ) consenting ADULTS haveing avi sex in places where people just strolling by don't have to see it. But if it's a teenager or child (them lieing to you about their age doesn't count), I don't think that's right. And most people on this site are from a society where's it's no accepted either. It's YOU who has to learn to deal with the criticism because your the one who doing what isn't commonly accepted. It sucks when the activity is mis-understood, but that's how it is.

Forums are just forums, nothing to be worried about. If you want to know the real me, look me up in-world, I'm often there.

It's my passion for all things SL and its general good (occasionally at the expense of the individual, which I feel is necessary) that fuel my direct, perhaps blunt, style of communication - but on the forums there aren't many other options unless you're not prepared to stand up for what you believe.

Ok I have read these types of things for the last 3 years and its time I chime in.

There are many reasons why people have sex over the internet to include SL, and yes even the phone. Ill give you one example; but there are tons more ---which are frankly none of your damn business - but since you cant seem to comprehend any imaginable reason why. . . . . . Ill help you out.

Man and wife, separated by 1000 miles because of jobs and careers. Very much in love with each other, vibrant, young and sexually active. Once a month they are able to see each other in real life and normally plan a nice romantic weekend together or gather up everyone for an entire family gathering.

On the other days when they are apart. . . they are logged into a game or a chat room in their evenings. Building a dream home, crafting a business, meeting new friends, chatting away and yes having sex.

Why - because they can. They miss each other -- they are lonely - and they have great imagination!!! They type things to each other over the internet or phone, or in the middle of a game that are endearing, romatic, extremely funny, and has a special meaning to only them.

Ok now that may sound like the perfect legitimate reason---man and wife separated by careers. But all the other people out there that are having sex ------ have their own personal fantasies and their own personal reasons --- and they are frankly none of your business. Your opinions and suggestions just dont matter to a hill of beans.

Meeting once a month would be a luxury, we manage perhaps 3 times a year. My partner and I are 3500 miles apart at the moment, partly thanks to US immigration crap (but thats another story). How come we manage to get by perfectly well without Xcite attachments and cybering every night?

As for a couple "1000 miles apart separated by careers", I don't think anyone should put their work above their relationship. Nothing is more important than being with those you love.

The immigration problem is based around the fact I'm trying to do it legally and follow the system. The time restrictions (and cost) are the two main problems.

Logic, rationality, equality of ALL people, freedom, and intelligence rarely matter to people who believe as literal a book that states that the universe is 6000 years old, that woman was made from a rib, that homosexuals are an abomination, that people have lived to be 900 years old, and that slavery is permissable (and that's new testament). While anyone is free to believe as they see fit, and have their own moral set, it real irks me when they try to impose their moral set on me. I love it when I'm told that someone believes in the equality of all people and in the next breath state that any who do not believe as they are destined for an eternity of damnation. That's really consistent with the new testament messenger, isn't it? Just sayin'.

That said, the only time someone should be banned is when they use the freedoms of SL to consistently infringe upon the freedoms of others.

If SL were Fascist Germany, as some people seem to think it is, you might be right. But LL doesn't have a secret police, and your insulting me in your earlier post is much more likely to land you in trouble than anything I said.



Prove it.

I would contend that everything ever created by mankind, be it science, the arts, religion, philosophy, was done as part of a massive attempt to impress the opposite sex. Therefore we as a species to revolve around reproduction, and sex, just like every other species.

I'm not banging on anything: the key words in my post are "believe as literal". My parents are both Christians, I was raised Christian, and love many, many Christians (many of my best friends). None of them believe homosexuals are an abomination or that the Earth is 6000 years old.
