While I agree with the sentiment (yes, I'm tired of all the net-nannies too) banning them would be more like something *they* would do - ban what they don't appreciate. I would rather that we work with There and figure out some marketing incentive to get all the prudes to go over to There - you know.. that Disneyfied, sanitized lesser version of SL. Maybe we can work out an exchange program _____________________

Prudishness vs open mindedness
There are some things in SL that I would never be or do, such as same gender sex, being a furry or a cartoon, playing bsdm roleplay, etc etc... Just not my game. Yet... I am open minded enough to allow others the freedom to do whatever they like without the bull caca that comes with being a prude... However, there are some limits to being opening minded... I would never condone cybering with children for example... some things are just too bloody low life and destructive to close my eyes to. |
