That's a fairly reasonable answer, Enabran. I think, though, that there is still some error on your part, in viewing other people's opinions as having to be either stupidity, hypocrisy and/or willful ignorance, when, in some of these cases, they are simply valid opinions which differ from yours.
In addition to forming your entire opinion of these people, and entirely basing your responses to them, on a few opinions. By doing so, you rather cut off the opportunity to find any common ground with these people.
