A friend of mine has this in her profile, and I think it's applicable to this thread, while also being an example of an interesting profile entry:
No one here made you as you are except you. We appear as we choose to portray ourselves. An avatar's details are entirely up to its creator and thus appearances in SL take on a significance even greater than in RL. We hide behind the supposed anonymity of the internet believing that there are no repercussions for our actions and taking no responsibilities. There are no levels in SL, no templates to stack and hide under to make up a "character". Intelligence and social skills show through no mater how hard you try to hide them. Your personality is stripped bare by the very machinima you believe shields you, leaving the base persona, your true nature, exposed to the rest of us.

I like that :D

Now that doesn sound like a bad idea. I usually buy an Italian one that comes in a sorta brown paper envelope. It's organic and made in small batches and is very reasonably priced.

But I also make my own which is really fun. :)

This must be one-time use lingerie? Or... edible?

I'm not an introvert or an extrovert. I'm more a sidewaysvert.

I understand.

Wait .. no, I don't.

Nevermind, I'd rather not understand.

Yes, Smith. Men might be able to squeeze a week's wear outta them.

That depends on what they are "wearing" them with.

(It's like the old "Where's the soap?" joke.)

Sorry, but that one makes me scream with laughter. It's probably because I had to think about it for a week before I got it.

My profile needs a lot of attention, but as soon as I log in I get distracted and never get around to messing with it. Keeping my inventory orderly is way more important to me than my profile.

My first ever SL forums post as Phoenix.....

Became really good friends with Sydney Jacobs, the first to answer that post.
