How old does my avatar need to look to have sex?

I for one dont have a problem with young looking or even child AV's...I do however have a MAJOR issue with people depicting sex with children (ok..minors if you prefer). As for who decides the look of an avatar, I am guessing that LL will make that decision..seems to be the sane choice seems they will be the final say on the issue. |

I sure hope they make good decisions. My avatar height is only 30 and thats either 5' 4" or 5' 6" normal in real life. I don't really get out much around SL but I'm a lot of times pretty short in comparison when I do. I've never been told I look like a kid but I'm sure I could just be changing into some pigtails and a cute outfit. I own a shop and it would be crazy to get banned just because of height. I've had this shape for about a year and a half and won't change it no way!! I like the shape too much, it looks natural and not like some of these other crazy tall shapes which in my opinion are very unrealistic. In fact, its from Colette. If people get AR'd just because they look possibly like 16 to only a few people that is crazy!! We need to focus on the real issue and that is the really obvious stuff that is just wrong and thats the pre-teen child avatars having sex and the child porn photos. |

People will always AR unnecessarily... and there isnt a think anyone can do about it. You seem to paint LL as a company that just reacts without first looking into things.. do you REALLY believe that is how they are? Do you really believe that they are just going to ban short avatars...for no reason? Of course they arent, Of course they will investigate first.
As I said in my other post...yes people have a right to be short. I totally agree with you there..and LL doesnt disagree either, they have never stated that you cant have a short avatar.. but thats doesnt mean that people who suspect you of being involved in ageplay arent going to AR you...so you have an option, you can make your AV a little taller... or you can have people ..quite wrongly.. abuse report you and have to find yourself doing a lot of explaining. but remember.. be short and be proud of it!! If you are going to stand up for your "young" looking "short" avatar..that isnt 15 but could be... then do it loud and proud! I have the answer for any short adult avatar ! Create a group with the tag name " Not a child av" Or " Short adult avatar " and wear it over your head that way you wont get harassed and don't forget to say the same thing in your sl profile... if you still get an ar against you, well have done everything you could and they are in the wrong.Its a little silly I know but it will work. Why should I have to justify my 5'3" av to anyone? I've had it for many years and will not be changing it, adding nonsense to my profile or wearing a silly group title, just to satisfy some SL moralists who consider young and short looking people to be ageplayers. They are the ones with the problem, not me. I really can't believe what some people are suggesting in this thread.
SL would be a sad world indeed if all of the women were 6'5" and looked like MTV has beens. Now that I think of it.....
If someone doesn't like the way another person looks then don't look at them.

I couldnt tell you if your avie looks 15 or 18. But its real obvious when your two foot tall, flat chested, pigtailed, frilly skirted, shiny black shoes and little white socks kindergarten ragamuffin is crawling around on a sex-gen bed. Thats the kind of thing that gets the FANTASY GESTAPO all nervous. "Was ist dieses? Geschlecht mit Kindern?" They dont care if the participants behind the avies are middle aged kink enthusiasts. In reality the wife may toss on the frilly ragamuffin outfit and play the 'oh daddy' scene, but she just ends up looking kinda silly. In SL the costumes are more convincing. She can indeed morph into whatever charecter shes decided to play. Since some believe that playing a hardcore role in a fantasy realm is a precurser to RL experimentation, your no longer allowed to stretch your imagination to such edgy levels. So, grow up and have fake sex with somebody your own age.

I was talking about the girl with the 4'6" av who claimes she is banned all the time and accused of being a child av when she is just short. Mrs. Showdog Tiger is pretty darned short. No one ever confuses her for being a child. Perhaps her wonderful jargon and incredible grammar prevents people from thinking she's young. Plus, I've never seen her wear anything riske` unless she's wearing her dusting fairy outfit....and every body part is still covered.
