I thought SL was a sort of pastime, Ive spent lots of money here and feel that Ive had more than my moneys worth considering the amount I spend on my kids c***y computer games that theyre bored with after a few weeks. I am making a little money now, but I only consider it pin money to buy a few nice things from other creators or upload textures. Ive had a lot of enjoyment creating things and Im happy with that, it means I dont have to pay for my fun from RL money. If over time with more work I can earn a bit more that would also be neat, but Im not going to get upset if I dont.
I dont know where this guy gets the idea that SL is a big money earner.

well due to the laws, I'm not making a living any more. I was a sploder king. I made 12k in 2 months betting on the sploder, I averaged 200L a day. But I got to go to work now. Not a bad thing but I'm rushed now, rent to pay and only a few items up at the SLX, need to get more up there so I can make a living.
Oh, didn't anyone tell you you can sell stuff on the SLX with out renting a store or paying an L. But you need to actually be able to make something to sell to do that. As was been said before this is just a case of someone diving in feet first, eyes closed, and no clue to the depth of the water. I don't drink, I had to quit, I am not at all a nice guy or good humored when drunk. |

I was sooo happy, I sold a Welsh flag for $L50 yesterday...now when am I gonna be a millionaire? Aha, I see, I am selling the wrong flags, I only have the English flag and the Union Jack, no Welsch flag yet, nor a Scottish flag. That must be the reason I am not rich yet... But I have the same experience: I don't often sell something and I am certainly not going to get rich. But it feels sooo good if someone is interested in something you have built that he is willing to pay a few pennies for it. That feeling is worth a lot of Dollars |
