I sold a couple of prefabs yesterday at the Big Dog Free Market. So I sent out a thank-you to the customer and reminded them to redeem the free vouchers that came with the purchases. Then I realised that this person was a member of Fabulously Free in SL. I had sent out an IM earlier on yesterday inviting FabFree members to check out my freebies, but at my main store. I have no idea if this is just a coincidence or as a result of sending out that IM. Obviously I'm getting a little more expose from somewhere so I'm pleased where-ever it originated

Ah ok then, maybe you could tell me about the Master Jewellers class when they start Czari, i'd be interested too attend ![]() Will do ![]() Interestingly, in Education Events the other day, there was an informational time to come get a brochure on another Master Jewelers program run by someone else. I went out of curiosity. I got as far as the 16-week course costing 35K and decided to stay with the one Calla will teach. _____________________

Looprez is great (and fast and easy) for say a pearl necklace or something that is one tiny prim repeated. But I'm not sure it can do a type of necklace that uses varying sizes and textures of prims. Could be wrong on that, but the class I took on it made a pearl choker and that is what I deduced from it. The maker of the free looprez script made this much more complex scripted device (LinkRez) to make necklaces, bracelets, etc. It handles links of multiple types in one necklace, and lets you shape it to "drape" around the neck and down the chest. I FINALLY splurged and picked one up after a year of looking at it. I still haven't had a chance to play with it yet though. http://www.slexchange.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&file=item&ItemID=277756 It's still one of my SL dreams to open a jewelry store, rather than just making odds and ends for myself. Every once in awhile a girl jsut HAS to use some prims! ![]() _____________________

Oh lol i saw she had a tutorial on SLX on how to make tiny prims i think it was 100L$. I will definently love to join the class though. I learn much better in a actual class than from notes
![]() Wow 35K is certainly alot of money for a class, when i first decided to learn clothing, i looked into classes there was one i saw going for about the same and it was a 6 week course. As you can imagine i stook too the tutorials lol. I'm not completely sure JoJo, i think Free*Style does, i'm sure i've seen furniture mentioned on there. Not sure about the others though sorry. _____________________

Oh, btw - I was wrong- ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I don't think we are supposed to do that Amar... I would hate to see you get in trouble I know I asked an officer and she said she was too busy to come review my store as they have to review the store first, before they can send out any notice for people waiting for their designer tag. Might want to check with an officer first, just to be safe (I would really hate to see you get in trouble for something like that) _____________________

I've been looking at that myself for awhile lol, you'll have too let me know how it works ![]() There is a demo model out in his store where you can go get a sense of what it can do. Now, MAKING it do that...that is another matter. ![]() _____________________

Hi, Jojo! I'm using FabFree for my items - I looked in their "other" category on the side of their blog and saw a sofa featured. I will say that I got a lot more people responding to my 1L bracelet than my 0L futon (currently my most expensive item) though...although lots of other factors could influence that...number of people online in the group at the time, time of day, etc. _____________________

Better go take a look again- thanks Rha ![]() from what I understood the only ones who are "supposed" to do it for others are officers being that the officer told me that she had to see my store first, before she could send a notice. edited to add I just looked at the site... according to the info there, officers and informers are the ones who can send a notice for other people... Free*Style Informers - Can send Notices to the group and Invite new members, (along with the Officers listed above). Please contact if you find a great freebie/dollarbie, (send a notecard or try a different person if the one you contact is offline) it should say "officers listed below", as for some reason they have that worded backwards, gonna send creamy an im so she can fix it _____________________

Thanks, Nimue ![]() That would be AMAZING if it came with a class. It looks like a wonderful tool for people making jewelry. (I just tinker with jewelry though, so I don't know for sure.) It won't replace being able to do things by hand, but as a way to get perfectly aligned chains to use as a base, I think it looks great. Also, it's a darn nifty piece of scripting! _____________________

Just checked into the LinkRez product. I've taken a couple of classes with these loopthingies and got them mixed up. The one I was thinking of was Vint's Primskirt Builder that came free with a class and apparently sells on SLex for 1500L. I "thought" they said in class it could also be used to make jewelry but now I can't find it in my notes. Ah well. Now I'm drooling over the LinkRez ![]() _____________________

This doesn't really apply to any of the stores I have been to owned by the people posting here. But please make sure your stores have enough light that the items for sale can be seen. I was at a place this afternoon that I am assuming the owner wanted to set a dark mood. However, I had a really hard time seeing enough detail in the items to know whether or not I wanted them. Even with forcing the sun to noon.

If it wasn't mentioned earlier somewhere re looprez- there is a free version available in world-check the Mermaid's site for info, it's where she talks about the skirt making. For skirts the Vint's is much better.
