I like your sign nissa, however I liked the old one too heh wonder if there is a way to combine them. logging in now, gonna start at the beginning of this thread and visit each store, and I am going to follow the example put in my amar, and put my reviews on my blog, instead of clutter up in here my blog (if anyone wants to do a blog swap just let me know) is http://rhadesigns.blogspot.com/hopefully SL will let me TP to the stores edited to clarify, I am only visiting the stores and writing reviews for the ones who specifically asked in here to have folks visit and review.

Everyone has been so helpful towards each other, the least I can do is visit allt he stores, though Rhaorth, I have visited yours once, earlier in the week, was mainly looking at the mini shops you have for rent and couldn't resist taking a peek at your store too. I was very impressed

I was very impressed thank you I am considering putting a special on the shops, rent 4 weeks get one extra free (just have to learn how to add time to it LOL) I have not made a decision on the dividing the plots, however if someone rented and wanted me to I have no issue with doing it. I want ppl to use them, not so much for the money (I charge a nominal fee mainly so I do get serious renters) but I like to shop and am more inclined to shop when it is close. also I recommend them to folks I meet, for instance the furniture one, the lady I know for sure got a sale from a customer of mine, because I told them she had a fireplace that would be perfect for their place LOL

Well I do own my own land for my shop, but I thought it would be nice to have an extra little shop, and your rates are more than reasonable, I have to say, and I have looked A LOT, they are the best rates from what I have seen, in a nice shopping area that has enourmous potential, and the shops are adorable too. Once I have my new designs photgraphed and uploaded etc (hopefully by monday), I think i will becoming a tenant there it can't do any harm spreading myself out a little

My alt visited Rha! earlier before being called away ..... she is now a few lindens poorer and didn't quite make it all the way around.
Really nice store, well presented and can't find any faults.
One thing I would like to ask though. I picked up a demo goth skin forgetting no use to my alt, but why aren't demo skins ever transfer? So often I see demos on different accounts and if could pass to myself and friends I am sure would help with sales.

Nissa- I like your sign - I find the background a teensy bit dark but very pretty.
OK peeps- I didn't make it to any stores tonight - spent it re-doing the size of the boxes in the store - so if y'all get a chance- pop back at some point-
The first meeting of the Biz Owner Network was very informative and entertaining. It was fun meeting several of you in person. I will write up the notes to share. Thanks Jojo for the hospitality.

LOL maybe I need to stop following and be a leader of sorts (I will change those demo's and the hair and shoe ones to be no mod no copy transfer yes PS thanks for visiting, sorry that the bear area is still mainly plywood textures hehe, still not sure I am going to keep that or not. Might do something else, only time will tell.

From: Amaranthim Talon Hey- Input on Lucky Chairs...? Why how etc- myself I don't sit in them anywhere- so have never even been tempted - But open to suggestions. Well I for one have sat in them .. many!!! My reasoning for placing one at my store? Well there are still a lot of residents who don't have many lindens, so, this way they get something for free if the timing is right. It may help in traffic terms, people being attracted to my store? and thirdly, I totally bought it on a whim, from the original lucky chair man, name of store escapes me right now and I have logged out of world. I am in the process of totally revamping my store, whole new and different lines of furniture so my plan is to put all my old stock into the chair! More input from veteran chair owners would be appreciated!

I still like lucky chairs, they are fun and meet some cool people around them I do not find they bring in a big amount of traffic, but it is a fun way to give out freebies or samples
I have 2 lucky chairs, one of the real old ones, and one of the newer styles, I also have a guess and win game, the lucky fortune teller, and the what's in the box
I am a sucker for those games, both as a player and game owner

After having a new Mac delivered today, discovering a problem, and then talking to Apple reps for two hours, I didn't have much time to go around to shops. I made it to three and will see more this weekend. (I made progress with Apple. The first rep wanted me to send my Mac back at my expense and possibly pay a 10% restocking fee. Two hours and two reps later, Apple agreed to pay all shipping, send a new one 2nd day air without waiting to receive my old one, and charge no stocking fee under any circumstances.)
- Rha! The first thing I saw was the logo on the glass door, and it's a wonderful first impression. You've mentioned and shown your logo here in the forum, Rhaorth, but it's even better the way you've used it inworld.
I won't comment on the designs due to a complete lack of expertise, but I thought your store looked very classy with an easily maneuverable, common-sense layout. It's quite a large store with a great selection.
It looks like you haven't used all of your parcel's About Land Description space -- if you have other keywords that might work, include them!
- Eclectic Accessories Although the offerings are truly eclectic, there is a common theme for the store's style and the items for sale: Fun. I really enjoyed being there. The painted logo on the old wood floor is wonderful, and sets the mood for the place and the offerings.
I thought the best items were the patches, slippers, scarves, butterfly hair accessory, and the chokers. Some items are extremely low in price, maybe too low. The chokers could easily go for several times the listed price.
I've never seen patches like these, Eclectic, and I hope you plan to have a larger variety when you have time to make more. They're unique, interesting, and well-done.
With such an eclectic selection, it's probably difficult to determine what keywords to leave out of your parcel's description. (Check the spelling of your keywords.)
- RBZ I wish I knew more about biker designs so that I could give more valuable comments, Ralektra. What I saw looked extremely good, especially the men's leather jackets. I wish more designers would include open and closed versions with sport, suit, and casual jackets -- you've done that with all your designs of these. That makes a big difference to me. I've found that designers who take care of details like that usually take care of a lot of other less-obvious details, too.
I was surprised to find some very different things upstairs! I thought the gowns looked as lovely as any I've seen in SL. The men's tux looks good, but the picture doesn't show the bottom of the tux jacket clearly. I love the idea of having gemmed sleeve cuffs.
One sign upstairs is not on full bright. No biggie -- I probably wouldn't have noticed had it not been at night.
Put keywords in your parcel description!!! Unless they just didn't load when I checked, the description was blank. If you've included your parcel in search for L$30 per week, then you're not getting all you deserve out of it if you haven't included a brief description and keywords.
-- When I was planning my shop, I went around to other stores just to look at signs, floorplans, and general shop decor. I really enjoyed it, and tonight showed me how much I've missed getting out and looking at the creative ways storeowners are presenting their creations. Thanks -- I had fun because all three of you have YOUR STYLE, you've put a lot of thought into your stores, and you make quality items. I'll visit more as soon as I can!
