Friends, I hate to do this. I'm backing out of the calendar thing. It's something that ought to be fun for everyone, and the more I thought about it, the more I decided that I was doing it because I wanted it to be fun for everyone else, regardless of the fact that it wasn't fun for me. It's not that I don't get to do the month I want; it's more that I feel I have no control over what I do with it. I'll be told where to go, what to do and how to do it, like I'm grunt labor or something. I'm usually pretty good about setting back and letting other people express their visions for a project or let them run creatively with something, but not to the point where I'm shoved in a corner and made to do as I'm told.

I mean this with all due respect and I really hope it turns out great - with the people involved in it, I don't see how it could be anything other than fantastic.

I would SO eat that Baby cake!!! And the whole time I'd be yelling "GET IN MA BELLY!!"

i'm just taking a picture and giving it to Oryx. whatever happens with it after that is fine with me. blurb or no blurb, by whoever or no one. it's all good.

Same here. Mine is out, done. I'm ok with whatever anyone wants to do with this even if it's just a straightforward calendar. This shouldn't turn into something which produces anxiety for anyone.

I have to agree with Trout, I didn't expect this to become a fight. That is something I want no part of. Therefore, I must also withdraw from writing any commentary for the calendars.

I still look forward to buying the calendar when it is finished.

Sort of the underlying point to my rant and follow up non-rant.

We do seem to be picking at stuff lately- maybe I am guilty too of over reacting to what could have been a perfectly innocuous post - if so, then I apologize for that as well since it was not how I saw it. I may have misunderstood.

Little, if I misread your comments about who should and shouldn't write for whom and blew it all out of proportion- I am sincerely sorry. If, on the other hand, you really did mean to imply that there was a problem with people's so's writing for them- I honestly do not see the issue and would be anxious to hear your reasoning behind it.

In any case- I really should not have been so vehement in my response and should have stated a question as I have now done. I really am sorry if I offended you- which I imagine I did- there's no excuse for that and I am sorry

lol - I've said before, I'd make the world's worst sub. I'm pretty sure I'd make a dom cry out of sheer frustration. My attention span is awful; I can't play anything straight; I can't follow even simple directions. I'd be just terrible.
