Hey!!! Bradley is back! :)

So nice to see you.....

On the writing in the calendar.... I've spent a lot of time working on the pic, and I refuse to let anybody mar my enjoyment of that.

Blurbs, no blurbs, funny, lovey dovey, who cares! In case some of you didn't notice, it's a group project. That means your particular opinion may not be shared by everyone. What is wrong with just letting each member of the group decide how they want their page to look?

Anyway, I'm sure you all will let me know what you decide is acceptable....

personally, I have no problem with someone writing a little ditty for me, I don't care who it is or what they say. It's all in fun, have at it.

I think a few things about the calendar ... the most important is that it should be fun and light-hearted!

More 2cents: I think having guys write captions for the pics is a great idea, something short and hopefully funny. If they're short enough, more than one caption could be used. IMHO, the captions should be about that one specific picture, not the avie or typist. Personally, I think that the pics should be posted somewhere and any male AV should be able to anonymously suggest a caption for any picture (once a caption is chosen for a picture it can be printed with attribution) -- no assignments of caption-makers to avies or months. And, captions should be clever and complimentary ... any snipes should simply not be used. The judging of which captions are used and which not should be done arbitrarily by a panel of 2 or 3 folks.

All this calendar talk and the most important thing has not been said.

Will there be nude shots? Really, that is the only reason us guys read the posts about it.. we are just waiting to see if we are going to be treated to pixel nipple.

My ambition in life has always been to be an innocent bystander. Never made it yet!

I was dragged to this thread kicking and screaming by Amaranthim and, if wanted, I am quite happy to get my own back by writing something excrutiating about her for the calendar. Hell, I am so in love with the sound of my own words that I would be delighted to write commentary on any and all of the months, despite my experience of the ladies concerned being confined to a limited exposure in the last week or so - perhaps a fresh eye (with the emphasis on "fresh";) might be illuminating . . . Let me know ifI can be of help.

Kaimi too.
Rushing in after a busy day of doing...um...I must have been doing something...

Stage 16 of le Tour de France today went over the highest road in Europe, the second of two beyond catagory climbs on a 157km, 97.6mile course.

There were attacks and counter attacks all day. At the summit of the final climb a lead group of 10 riders went over the top about two minutes ahead of a group containing the leaders of the overall competition. The rest of the field were spread out behind on the the brutal 40km climb.

The riders flew down the narrow twisting road on the the 25km final descent at speeds of up to 100km/hour. Most came in safely.

Not so lucky was John-Lee Augustyn, the first man over the final summit. On the way down he missed a bend and went flying over the edge of the mountain onto a very step slope, slippery with loose gravel. With the assistance of a spectator he was able to get back onto the road, more or less unhurt but his bike was unrecoverable halfway down the mountain. A rider on the South African team, Barloworld, which has only 4 men left in the race, Augustyn had no choice but to wait for his team car to arrive with a back-up bike. Losing his chance for a top ten finish. Check out the video http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=IPdNfsf4Z5c

American Christian Vendevelde also was delayed by a crash on the final descent and slipped back to come in 24th today and fall from 5th to 6th place in the overall standings. Frank Schleck remains in first place overall.

Frenchman Cyril Dessel of team AG2R won the stage.

i'm reading Grishom's The Rainmaker right now, ...
One his best books. I hope you get the job you most want 3. I'm sure your interviewing chops will be much sharper next time and probably today wasn't as bad as you think. I've gotten too relaxed and honest at job interviews before... I think it was probably when I didn't really want the job.
