Note: I did not see the whale pond, since the whale was AWOL at the time. :p

The whale has now retunred with no more explanation for his absence than a glint in the eye and a very smug expression

Hi, threadpeople!

At the moment, every day that I log into SL is like a birthday for me, because there are always new furnishings awaiting me in our home. Today I found a gorgeous bath on the upper floor, surrounded by gauzy white curtains. Daros has been busy again *g*

Just puts a smile on my face reading this. :)

Inquiring minds...need pics! :p

But seriously...how wonderful!! Surprises (of this sort) are so much fun.

Sigh...

Up at 5:00 am this morning so I could be at a budget meeting. There was no reason for me to be at this meeting at all. Now I'm sleepy. 5:00 AM is EARLY. This week is off to a rough start. I'm sore as hell from the weekend, and now I'm exhausted and it's only 8:30 in the morning. Tonight looks like a late one for various reasons. I might perish before Friday.

At least I can goof off in here, and work is plentiful and interesting at the job, so I can keep busy, which is more than I can say for that crap-fest of an old job I had. I suppose that, through the haze of sleep deprivation and pain killers, things are looking pretty good.

Ha, I'm semi-yardwork crippled and didn't realize quite how slowly I was moving this morning until I got into the car to go to work. I was hoping to sneak in the back way, but my boss was naturally in the parking lot leaving for a meeting when I pulled up 20 minutes late...

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

It's a day like today, Ann, that I really, really want Arthur Weasley's Ford Anglia with the invisibility enchantment.:D

Sorry to hear that you're still feeling the effects of yesterday's battle in the yard. Did you find some stuff for the sunburn?

Yes please. I'd like a fast drip. I have a giant cup on my desk right now and a large Rock Star going as well.

/FD peeks in room waves hello.
My real life boyfriend decided to create account last night, I took him out and got him one
of the Darker skin Chip Midnight skins.
Personally I never have bought one for myself yet the few I have were given to me.
He looks pretty good in pixel form.

Done! (in case no one sent one in the past 3.5 hours...) :)

Thanks! Got it and clicked the correct button!

G'morning, thread and threadies! I'll be joining the brigade of the sore shortly; we went for a bike ride yesterday, which I haven't done in a while. And I couldn't find my biking shorts, so I had to rely on my own padding; it's ample, but saddle soreness is pending anyway.

Summer before last were were late on a project for a big OEM, and they sent a team to our plant for the summer. The guy leading the team was certifiable, screaming, ranting. People were working 24 hour shifts, and the office and admin staff were on call 24/7. One night after letting ppl go home at 11 pm, he called a meeting for the materials group at 3 am. People had to turn around and come right back to work. Finally, the owners said enough, and kicked him out, but not until after the entire staff was ready to drop, not to mention QUIT.

Amazing what we are sometimes asked to do for work!!!

/me waves Good Morning to all the Threadies.. :)

Yikes! You win. I work some tough hours, but I've never had to deal with anything that bad.

Thanks Maureen, now please clue me in what exactly we have to do ;). Personal issues keeping me away from the Forum so I could use an update on this one. You can write me a PM, no use adding to the thread since nobody is winning any moolah on this haha!
