:D The difference is that I'm there for 'my public' while 'switched off' mentally - if you're tied up in a gay dungeon nobody is likely to see you!!:D

I don't know if I ever owned a pink flamingo - unless it's lurking in the library section.
Certainly I've never rezzed one!

it does make you wonder what the inspiration was for that Linden to come up with a Pink Flamingo, all that effort!

Like the picture 'Conifer in Pink' :)

Perhaps it was for educational Pink inspiration?
Or if I reproduced my own with my own efforts would I be fined for being a copy bot?

if every prim says created by FD then it's yours. like if one was a bucket manufacturer, how different can he make his bucket different from every other bucket manufacturer? you don't see many of them suing each other :)

ever since gab and I had our disagreement I feel like everyone has pretty much shunned me, very few reply to my posts, even on the one I outright ask for opinions regarding something I was pretty darn proud of

yes it stings and yes I am prolly assuming too much (as usual) but the hell with it, I am just gonna ask outright

are you guys all pissed at me?
maybe I'm necroposting and I have yet to read other's responses, but given the question asked I thought I should answer. Personally, I'm not mad at anyone nor avoiding you or anyone else. I didn't take the time to look at your video cuz I was too busy making an asshat of myself elsewhere. I couldn't comment on something I didn't take the time to watch. I'm sure it's my loss.

Rhaorth, after reading Vamps post I searched for the link and had a look, never saw your original post ever. you say yourself "Just me playing around, learning how to make movies and adding sound" and yes it's a decent test. Dancing in SL videos and for that matter any sequence really doesn't need to be more than ten seconds long, unless the sequence has many changes (different dance steps are not changes) that need recording from beginning to end. I like the idea of fading in and out still shoots too, but wasn't keen on the noise method used. By the end I wasn't sure you really wanted to do a vid test or want us to listen to the music though. You should really make the animation more important than the sound track, not be worried about fading the sound out before the song finishes. Your 'test' could have been 30 to 60 seconds long and it would have said just as much.

BTW, Maggie.

Maureen and I were talking in world the other day and I mentioned you were a DJ. We thought it would be fun to organize a field trip with threaders to come see you in action sometime.

Could you give us a few dates and places you are going to be and those of us who can will pick a day and come support you?

If you are too shy to have us all there... TOUGH! :D

/me points to sig ;)

The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

thanks for looking and for the honest feedback
see the problem is it is all new to me, so learning by my own mistakes more than anything (and the song was a random grab from my song database)

I am uploading a different style one now (and yes if anyone decides to look, it is basically an ad, with voice over)

so please, don't look if you do not want to see an ad with voice over

Then if you don't think your going use a certain type for a while, shove them into a box. I love to see my inventory count drop magically when I do that.
/learns something every day in this thread.

Morning Threadies

No SL or Forum for me last night. I got home from work and passed out at 7:30 pm. I didn't wake up until the clock went off at 3:30AM for work today.

My inventory is somewhat organized. It is what I do. I make my living organizing records and documents. I still have trouble finding things because I haven't written a formal filing plan.

I hope everyone is doing good, happy, healthy, wealthy and wise.

"CX" (records manager)

you have a very nice voice for doing ads. I'm guessing your microphone does not have any foam over the end of it? If you scrounge up a piece of thin *open cell* foam to cover the tip of the mic it cuts out the background pop-hiss on certain sounds. Even just a kleenex will do in a pinch, tho you have to speak quite a bit louder to compensate.

Sheesh, I leave the thread for a minute, and....

Good morning, threadies! Happy Wednesday/hump day.

I think we need a good breakfast; this pic seems to have a bit of something for everyone (I hope):

and for those who just cannot get out of bed this morning:
