I'm curious what his avatar looks like. I wonder if he went with the boring corporate look like M did.

That's pretty funny. He's the conversation manager and everything on his profile says "Uh... you need to talk to someone else about that"

Oh yes, I want the Droe Exotica:

A problem is that people might think you are trying, and failing, to recreate that currently popular blue creatures. That's right, they will think you are trying to be a super tall smurf. Or a Nav'i from Avatar.

Everytime I write Nav'i I recall that Simpsons episode where there was that addictive little song, addictive to the kids in the series, that was "Join the Navy" backwards. Though Ivan is just a Russian name, not "Join the Navy"

I don't know, Tom Hanks didn't seem to mind.

BTW, if you look closely at her hand, you can see exactly what Madison thinks of your anti-mermaid bigotry. :p

I did think of mermaids when I responded. Scales? Rubbing against me? A woman that must always be kept wet? I also point to my forum avatar as to a possible other problem.

Nor sure your co-pilot has the right stuffz.

But, he IS adorable, the co-pilot. (Of course the pilot is too. I just wasn't expecting the co-pilot to be so cute) :o

lol...oh, the mental image..... :p

Wouldn't be the first time; (remembering that hilarious thread where I had to leave my desk and go in a restroom stall to finish laughing so hard) about the female bits found hanging on the front door, and another under the house where they'd been 'lost' and were causing havoc with the top scripts on the sim........God, those are classic.......and soon to be gone. :(

So... I've mostly been doing my job search from the dining-room table at home, which turns out to be a BAD place to sit. I don't understand the ergonomics of it, but in spite of good posture, being pretty relaxed, and taking breaks when I should, somehow it's killing my back.

And my back NEVER hurts.

Six has a desk that I *could* use, if she didn't have it covered with games and clothes and books and tiny things. I'd have to put them all somewhere...

Anyway, Six also has this tiny chair (from when she was little) so I've put my laptop on that, and am sitting on the floor facing it. I can either sit up straight, or lean against the closet behind me.

It's a lot more comfortable than it sounds. And I *could* go to the library if I felt like it. They have wifi.

I have a little break today, of sorts. I'm going to see my favorite aunt, who has ovarian cancer, stage 4. I've talked to her on the phone, and she *sounds* fine, but now I'll get to see.

One of my older sisters is taking me, and my aunt is staying with one of her daughters (my cousin), so it will be a mini-reunion with people I really like.

I'm hoping she's bearing the chemo well.

What's really hard about this is that her husband, my uncle, just died a couple of years ago, and of course he was a great guy, very funny and friendly. I don't want her to go too.

You did good. :)

Corporate scumbags are something we can't avoid in RL, and now unfortunately they are going to be showing up in SL more and more.

With Watchman closing at the end of the month, it's time to start packing up.

The van is of course Mari's, and the crates are from Qie...and they are "fully scripted". ;)

They are actually quite fun, but very much a workout. Tonight I went to a Zumba class at the same studio -- with is basically aerobic dance and stretching to Latin music. I almost died before class ended - though I really did need something to help get me back in shape.

I think it's great that you're doing these dance classes. I know how much you love to dance, so it's neat you can dance AND get a workout at the same time. :)

Oh sure be my guest. I probably would have actually done it had it been a spotlight on Dow Chemicals specifically, but since it was just talking about the firm working on their trade show I figure I'm too lazy to even be a slacktivist. :o

hehe...great article...."slacktivist" perfect blending of words. :D
