Beats me why I am up - but I am...

So - am doing my usual thing checking here, checking overnight transactions.. there was a Gift transaction from a friend. You know that sensation of OMG WTH ? - So I log in and I get a notecard titled "So & So's Farewell" - I have a major sad. This was a very old and dear friend.

So it made me look at my Friend's list and yes see people there that I never talk to for various reasons- timezones can be weird, they havent been around in a million years, I dont remember who they are---- so much.

Our friends list is sorta like a litltle memory keeper. I still have my gf who i signed up with so long ago- at times i talk to her in YM but she left SL like 2 years ago; an Aussie friend who comes in maybe once every six months or so but the time thing just lets me get sporadic IM's, "Hey A! Just waiving, hope all good, blah blah" poof and gone. Friend who makes odd appearances about twice a year and sometimes unfriends me when he thinks he is leaving SL but somehow returns months later, apologizes refriends and then disappears again...

Anyway... I am sad and now YMing with his - ex - i guess - and she's falling apart and my friend is gone-

Good morning.
We had a light rain over night and it is still an overcast sky and a cool 62 degrees here. In other words it is a beautiful morning.

3ring and Amara, just saying *hugs* seems so feeble and lacking but it is all we can do from so far away. With the endings and new beginnings and with different reasons yet so much the same it almost sounds like a poetic and sanguine lesson in life. Well, to hell with the care-bear poetry. Dr. Huntress says lean on your friends and family and tonight, drink a shot for every person that says "hugs" on this thread and feel the warmth of all our friendship fill you up from the inside since we can not be three to hug your outsides

It is another absolutely shitty day here. I had planned on an outing to The City, but instead I am gonna stay home, make chicken soup and be in SL until I fall asleep at my desk.

I found it this morning in my favourite shoe. The shoe was half dug into a hole, heel in the air and had been in the garden all night.
I saved the leaf though.....you can have it if you want?

I remember the commercials with "z's" in every other word from the 80's (when I used to watch TV). I found them a little annoying. Maybe they're still on?

Ah well, if Ben's abandoned it, it must be no good now. Thanks though.
