I've read most of the Care Bear . . I mean Cave Bear series (I see no connection with Care Bears, but that was just a one letter change and so). I think there are 2 that I haven't read. Depending on how many have been written since I last looked. Which has been a long while. There's 5 so far, but rumours of a 6th on the way. I'd glare at the mention of care bears if I thought Id ever be any match for Rio's glares ![]() _____________________

I've just finished reading the entire Anita Blake series for the third time. I can't get interested in anythign else just yet, so Ima leave it for a while lol. When I do pick up my next book, it's prolly gonna be to re-read Jane M Auel's Clan of the Cave Bear series...again. The last few years I've mainly been re-reading books I own. But I've just about exhausted the ones that aren't in boxes in the garage (like the whole Kurt Vonnegut Jr. collection). I did notice "Half Asleep in Frog Pajamas" the other day in the shelf by the kitty litter so that's my next book. I'm totally addicted to reading for pleasure. I just looked up Anita Blake. Not my favorite genre usually, but I've really enjoyed some examples. _____________________

I am reading several books for work, but they don't count. For myself I'm reading "Princess of Mars" by Edgar Brown Rice Burroughs and "The Artist's Guide to GIMP" by Michael J. Hammel. The first one just in case I ever end up as a princess on Mars. It could happen. . _____________________

That sounds like a good idea for my next trip to the library. I'd like to read Clan of the Cave Bear etc. again. I re-read books until they literally fall apart in my hands. I've always got one nearby. I go to sleep reading lol, and I read in the bath. I've dropped books in the bath, and they're still on my shelves, slightly battered but still readable lol. I love books with vampires and werewolves and magic lol, so Kim Harrison, Keri Arthur, and even Mary-Janice Davidson are some of my faves now lol. Also Twilight ![]() Those who like fantasy/magic stuff without the vamps etc should try James Clemens' The Banned And The Banished series, or Trudi Canavan's stuff. Both of those kept me up waaaay past my bedtime lol. ![]() ...I'll shut up now, once I get talking about books its hard to stop. ![]() _____________________

Rio and 3Ring's X-rated performance in the group chat yesterday had me laughing so hard. I think it's the spelling of "bewbies" that tickled my funnybone so much.
![]() Thanks all for the trip down memory lane of all the books I've read. Am still working on the Anita Blake ones as the used bookstore never has a whole series, but managed to read most of Christine Feehan. Fantastic set of vanity pics today, everyone. I guess I will add one of my own, even though you've seen the outfit before. ![]() |

Jerboa Haystack Ok Soji...fess up. Where's the shirt from. I wantz it. Since he hasn't fessed up, I'll tell ya ![]() I would have to go in world to check. I assume that it could be a Husky shirt, but the shirt isn't from a shirt pack. It is part of full outfit. Thank-you everyone for the kind comments. As a further comment on my not taking many pictures of myself in human form, I will note that the picture is from June 13, 2009. Here is a view of another full outfit I bought from the same place. Which, again, might or might not be Husky. ![]() picture from June 13, 2009 And another ![]() Here is one where I'm lounging on my bed in real life. ![]() _____________________

Okie doke...some green thumb advice is needed. I have started to do my own lawn care. Besides being a savings, I am really enjoying it. I bought myself a shiny new mower at Sears recently and everything. I was putting down some weed and feed, and went a bit too heavy on some heavily weeded spots, along with a big patch where Boomer knocked over the spreader. Now I have some burned out spots. There are some little bits of green poking through, so my question is, will it grow back on it's own? Or will I need to re seed it, or even re sod the spots?
