Well, I went and poured my self a cup of Jig this morning- good poll but lousy choices- too black and white. Fun to get on a soap box this early though.

What troubles me is the mysterious hexagon at Saturn's north pole no one has satisfactorily explained to me . . .

It is one of the new prim shapes.

Kaimi, those kitties are soooooooooo cute!

Nuh uh. Siamese can be beautiful...not cute. That one looks beautiful AND eeeevil. She's Up To Something.

But I could be wrong. I need new glasses. Despite having read it before, as I went by the blog entry on the main page I read it as "Toll Free Bling Support Now Available..."

/me sighs, hands you a fire extinguisher, and heads for Starbucks.

Thanks :) That is the Beta Splendens- Violet - from Teke-li something or other- the place is Mermaid Temple and the blue jelly is a real person - same as the cephalopod in the first picture, a friend with a taste for exotic avies.

Howdy folks!

I understand that the RFL sims may only be up until tomorrow morning. If you haven't visited the RFL Anatomica sim rush on over there. I highly recommend it. Educational and a bit of fun as well.

Anyone old enough to remember "Fantastic Voyage"?

"Fantastic Voyage" was such a cool flick!

I wish I'd gotten over to the RFL sims. They completely slipped my mind this weekend. :(

I have been watching the History Channel's programs tonight on the moon landings from 40 years ago... It is so hard trying to explain to a 17 yr old what it was like to experience that. What it mean't not only to the US but the rest of the free world. And the kid is bascially in to both history and hte sciences but it is something I just can't describe to him.

*I* know what you mean. :p

It would also appear that some builds are already being dismantled.

I really hate to hear that. There were some really excellent builds there and I was only able to see a few.

/me wonders what wonderful sights he may have missed. :(

Speaking "off topic", can someone tell me about the 'new shapes' in the new viewer? Post a pic or two please? I don't want yet another dl if not worth it and i haven't heard things about it in other areas so...

I had forgotten as well. Mostly because I hadn't heard of them until after the weekend was over.
