ohhhh, I'd forgotten all about Goldschläger! That's the Italian cinnamon schnapps with the gold flakes in it!

Yes, that's it. Unless my eyes lie, I have two bottles of that almost full. The newest bottle actually having less liquid in it, now, than the older one.

I know there are a lot of SL explorers in this thread, so maybe someone can help me out.

Does anyone know of a hilly or mountainous (preferably grassy) location in SL with an unspoilt view? Or as near to an unspoilt view as possible? I can think of a couple that are heavily wooded, but none come to mind that are unspoilt by stores or even by discreet 'buy our trees here' type areas.

Something along these lines:

Or this (minus the hat and the telegraph poles (linked because it's a large pic)

I've dropped a LM on you inworld. Not 100% sure its what you are looking for, but worth having a look just in case :)

Same here, seriously. I got to the store and was so hot, I couldn't even remember what I wanted to buy. Had to stop and think for a bit. I've been going through this walking phase since my truck is a gas guzzler. So I made a deal with myself,if the place is less than a mile away from me.I walk. Well I didn't take into account that it is so freaking hot outside right now. So I think I will rethink that deal.:p
Adjust the distance for every 5 degrees or so of temperature.

Normally I'd go with the low cut jeans and teeny top, or the mini skirt and teeny top, but I wanted a jammie day.

I shoulda stuck with the boots...
Something tells me that boots would not match carebear jammies very well though.

The Empress and Hierophant sim. I've not been there, but I've seen pictures on a few blogs, and from memory I think it might be just the place. :) I love the Alchemy Immortalis sim, and E&H is by the same creators.

I've been having a small amount of Goldschläger in the evenings, myself. Bought a new bottle of it over the weekend. Only to find that I had a almost full bottle still at home. I had hidden it and thought I was out. I had actually gone to pick up another bottle of Grand Marnier, which I had known I had finished.

I like the cinnamon smell and taste of Goldschläger. Grand Marnier has an orange flavor. Both around 40% alcohol per volume, with Goldschläger up at around 43.3%.

mmmmm Goldschläger in hot chocolate. yummers. and of course, i like anything that has to do with orange. go figure! :D

Some of the area around Rodeo comes to mind. Also, the ground level at Avaria.

:p I started dying my hair when I was like 14 and I'll never forget my then best friend's parents told her to stop hanging out with me cause I was bad news for dying my hair... But yet her sister was a crack whore. I guess that was okay with them.:p
Lol I think I was about 14 when I lightened my hair the first time. My friends mom managed to bring up the word peroxide just about every time I saw her after that. I just know she considered me to be "cheap" ever after. Unfortunately I lost touch with my friend a few years later but probably she and her siblings all turned out to be country club members. We didn't have crack whores back then. But that mom would have been shocked at how much more most kids got up to than I did. (Not hers though.)

I'm NOT posting this because I am a softy or a romantic. I am simply trying to get to 1000 posts...

LONDON (AFP) – A British man and his Spanish former sweetheart have finally married 16 years after they drifted apart, reunited by a love letter lost behind a fireplace for over a decade, reports said on Monday.

Steve Smith and Carmen Ruiz-Perez, both now 42, fell in love 17 years ago when she was a foreign exchange student in Brixham, southwest England, and got engaged after only a year together.

But their relationship ended after she moved France to run a shop in Paris.

A few years later, in a bid to rekindle their love, Smith sent a letter to her mother's home in Spain. It was placed on the mantelpiece, but slipped down behind the fireplace and was lost for over a decade.

The missing missive was only found when builders removed the fireplace during renovation work.

"When I got the letter I didn't phone Steve right away because I was so nervous," Ruiz-Perez told the Herald Express local newspaper.

"I nearly didn't phone him at all. I kept picking up the phone then putting it down again.

"But I knew I had to make the call."

When they were reunited, it was as if time had stood still, said Smith, a factory supervisor.

"When we met again it was like a film. We ran across the airport into each other's arms. We met up and fell in love all over again. Within 30 seconds of setting eyes on each other we were kissing.

"I'm just glad the letter did eventually end up where it was supposed to be," he said, after the couple married last Friday.
Wow. Romantic softies like me like this kind of story.
