Tweet - On the HBO show Entourage, one of the brothers always said tweet to end a call with his then girlfriend. I don't, despite the use of cell phone, that tidbit is any help on tweeting.

Messages on Twitter are, I believe, called Tweets, though I have not ever been to the Twitter website.

I have been to the Plurk website, though, as there was some SL people mentioning use of Plurk and I was curious. When I looked on Plurk, it was mostly drama about people being banned on SLU.

I have never heard of text messaging called tweets.

Yeah, it is kind of an interesting phenomenon, and I understand it as part of the natural human desire to be in touch with others, while confirming one's own existence. But the very idea of participating myself makes me feel so tired.

I'm actually sitting by an open window, stripped down to a tee shirt and shorts. I love weather like this. 74F is the official temp right now but it's warmer here on the East side of my house. I would get cranky if it got much warmer, though. I'm glad you have good air-conditioning, Rio. I hope all of you in hot places are able to keep nice and cool.

I use twitter. Sometimes.

Its mini-blogging. You post updates in 150 characters or less. I'm not obsessed with it like some people, but maybe thats cause I don't have interweb access on my phone. Its just a way to share random thoughts etc. I'm not so interested in the stuff like what they had for dinner, but I have a friend who finds the most awesome quotes and has some of the funniest ideas, I like logging in and seeing what her latest insanity is lol.

my house is 85* inside right now. perfect. wouldn't dream of turning on the A/C unless it got to 100* or so. i love it when it's hot! YAY!

[soapbox]It's the one thing I wish people could understand about a lot of the kids in SL, ya know? The love an stuff that goes into these things. Not love as in sex stuff, but love as in caring and heart. Alla us ere all teary eyed yesterday afters, knowing it was time to go back to our regular SL worlds an stuff. The sim is just a sim, the builds that were there were just prims, scripts, and textures -- but the people made it a special thing. This is what lies at the heart of a lot of kid stuff, and a lot of SL stuff overall.[/soapbox]

Was tons of fun doin all those piccies an stuff an sharin' them, an more fun to participate in the activities that lead to the piccies.

I swear too much to RP a kid in SL. I'd be like the bad seed on the block that no one's parents would want their kids near.
